Seeking a location for a year-long PUA Pilgrimage

Hi guys.
WOW. I can't believe I hadn't seen this forum before. This is a gold mine for lifestyle development. Respect.
I found this site because of the Travel section. My friend (German) and I (MidEast-descent Canadian) are planning on taking a year off from our other life obligations, and focus on game... go out every night and day.
This means that we should be able to pay the bills with 2-3 days of work/week and live somewhere in a city centre where logistics are a non-issue.
Initially, we planned on going to Montreal, but apparently German nationals only ever get ONE working holiday visa to Canada, which my friend has already used, so that can't happen. Worse, the US doesn't even HAVE working holiday visas!!!
Now, we're wondering where we should go to accomplish this, and I think if there's one place we can get decent advice, it is here. We don't want to go somewhere too easy for pick up (Thailand - and we definitely don't want to live there for a year), and we definitely don't want to go somewhere too hard (Argentina). We each have a few months of consistent gaming experience, but there's a lot for us to learn.
Right now, everything is on the table. There are a lot of world travelling PUAs here, so we were hoping you could bestow some of your wisdom on us and answer the question: With game as top priority, North America out of the question, and the need to work as little as possible, what is the best city to go to?

So just to clarify, you want to live in only one city for a year?

And you also are looking to work in that city?

First problem: there aren't many places you can get a year-long visa, so off the bat you're looking at illegally overstaying.

Ur most likely gonna have to do 6 months in one country and 6 months in another.
If you are Canadian than u will be able to find work teaching English which could potentially get you a work visa to allow you to stay a yr.
How exactly did you plan to pay to live somewhere for a year?

@Dash: Yes we'd have to work there. We both have several thousands in savings but we prefer to earn the expenses and not burn the savings completely.
I'm definitely thinking of teaching English, but on the other hand gaming in a non-English speaking country could be challenging.
@Roosh: what about working-holiday visas? If I'm not mistaken they are year-long?
To be honest, it has only been 48 hours since we realized Montreal wasn't gonna work, and we have been intensely researching cities and locations from a pick up point-of-view... we haven't even got to the visa situations yet.
We are definitely VERY flexible. If we find out that staying somewhere for a year is unrealistic, we'll change plans. What we're most worried about is that wherever we go, we must be able to radically improve our game. We don't want to end up in a place (as I've read about some places in South America) where social structure/convention or language/cultural barriers make it impossible for foreigners to pick up girls.
If we can find a place that allows this and we can't stay for a year, that's fine; two 6-month arrangements are ok too. We are both interested in travelling world too so that will still be an awesome experience. It's just not the priority now.

U need a lot more than a couple grand to last a year. I burn a grand easy in 2 weeks staying in hostels and eating cheap. Ur gonna be going out alot, meeting and taking girls out ect. U need some serious coin to travel for a yr. What is ur budget for the year long trip? Even in SA u will likely need to get a tesl certificat to get a visa and make any money.

Do you have dual citizenship for Canada and Europe?
Here is the problem if you only have Canadian citizenship.
The only feasible jobs one can get in SA and Asia are teaching. Your friend doesnt qualify for that. If you do not hold dual citizenship than you can not work in Europe. Then you said North America is out of the question so thats ALL ur options right there looking bleak if u do not hold European citizenship.

A non-Schengen Eastern European country is not a bad choice. I think you can exit and return immediately to reset your visa. I stayed in Serbia for about five months without any visa (only four hours to the border). The girls are hot and may fuck with your mind -- they just might game you.

This idea clearly hasn't had much thought, brilliant in principle but in practice it's not gonna work. Most countries don't offer working holiday visas, ones I know that do include UK, Canada, Australia, NZ, Singapore, Japan and only if your from certain countries. You'll sometimes be limited to the type of work you can do and the pay won't be great most likely, a few grand in savings won't cut it and you'll not earn enough to go out partying every night.
You seem to be confused as well, you talk about wanting to go travelling then say you want to spend a whole year in one city, that's not travelling then is it.

Yea im not sure this is feasible esp with yall not being able to work in the same countries ect.
Id cut it down to 6months in one place to practice game. That will be much more realistic

You need to spend a whole lot more time learning about travel visas, work visas, and figure out if you are going to go somewhere they speak english or not. I don't know of too many English speaking countries that you can just roll into, land a job for 2-3 days per week, and get a work visa, or where they allow you to hang out for 12 months as a foreigner, and u can afford living off 2-3 days of work. If there is one I'd love to hear about it.
I think you're going about it backwards, find out where both of you can work first then narrow it down. Or shorten ur trip to 3-6 months.

maybe Australia or New Zealand, but i don't know how hard it is to get two different people from different countries there at the same time in the same city. Plus the process will take many, many months I assume. I know 2 Japanese that are going to Canada doing it and it took them months.

you should definetly come to colombia, besides the abundence of
beautiful colombianas it is very cheap to live here. i mean if you are
living in somewhat nice apartment it might cost you around 1000-
1200 a month, and you can probably teach english at a school or
university if you know a little spanish.

Based on your situation, I was as going to suggest Japan, but it really is love or hate it, and needs a commitment in language. But the women!!
Don,t knock the UK, great jump off point for rest of europe, but weather can be proper miserable.
Maybe have a look at bar work other than teaching to supplement income if going to australia since english teaching wont be an option?
I am no gentleman

Of course 2 people from different countries can go at the same time to the same city, you can go whenever you want and to wherever you like. They just issue a visa and you decide where you want to spend your time. I had my Aussie WHV visa within seconds of applying, was instant and done online. I didn't rate Aus that highly though, it's a love or hate country. There's some gorgeous places, some incredible things to see but the general vibe of the place didn't impress me and the less I say about the people the better for fear of offending anyone. I'd be in no rush to go back.

Right now, that place is looking like Australia: we can both get working holiday visas there. It's a bit- I mean... VERY pricey but the minimum wage is $15/hr. We may actually have to work full time for a while, which is acceptable, I guess. EDIT: OR we can give up the idea of having our own apartment and share with several other people.
It's really hard to get a job in Aus as a foreigner on a WHV, employers don't want to touch you because most people don't hang around for long and they're not allowed to employ you for anymore than 6 months at a time anyway. Most foreigners going to Aus to work end up in the outback working slave labour on the fruit fields for peanuts, it's depressing. Few folk pick up call centre or bar work.

You can get a job alright but you better be prepared for it to be some shit, min wage, slave labour job where you're treated like shit. At least if an employer chooses a local there's more chance of keeping them for a few months, with a traveller they know you'll leave soon as you get bored or itchy feet.
