I spent three weeks in Vietnam over the Christmas/New Years Eve. I was with my parents most days visiting tourist sites which meant I focussed my gaming on night game. I didn’t go out as much as I would have if I were on my own but I managed to see some of every place I went to. As I was with my parents I rolled solo every time. Vietnam is a great country to visit on its own right with some fascinating history and things to see but I will limit this to game information. This is my first attempt at a data sheet and is quite sparse. I have probably missed some things so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Saigon –
I had a great time here. The city has a great energy and seems to have less Western influence than Bangkok. There are many petite, cute Vietnamese girls around who are very open to talking to foreigners. Viacom Mall would stand out as a great place to day game cute upper class local girls.
Lush
I had been told this was a great place to meet local girls and am glad I went. I walked in and heads turned as I was the only white guy in the club. Mostly upper class university age groups, there were some cute girls, usually in large groups with several effeminate men. Other more alpha looking masculine guys had bottle service tables who were getting some play. I had a make out with a university student but as I was sharing a room with my brother and the hotel had a strict no-local girl policy I didn’t aggressively escalate further. The club has a nice interior and I think a well-dressed Western guy with his shit together could kill it in here.
Apocalypse Now
Filled with hammered Western men falling over each other and tables of local prostitutes eyeing up targets. Beer was 4 X the price of other places. I didn’t stay here long.

Attracts a well-heeled crowd and you’ll pay Western prices for drinks. A more relaxed vibe than other places and while not as good for gaming as other places I would recommend going for a drink here just for the amazing view. Would be a good place to bring a girl.
The area around Crazy Buffalo
This reminded me of Khao San Road in Bangkok, although the locals have a strong presence. Filled with deck chairs with a 50/50 split of foreigners and locals drinking looking out to the street. A few cute Vietnamese girls who were usually approachable and some sloppy Western backpacker types, who I avoided.
Hoi An
An old trading town which has become one of Vietnam’s most popular tourist spots, Hoi An does not have a busy night life scene. There are many quiet and relaxed bars which would be great to bring a girl to but I wasn’t motivated to do too much away from my parents, as I was aware of the nightlife options in the next places. The main tourist part is quite compact allowing for day game. I'd recommend you get some clothes made here, very cheap and of a high quality. I went to Yaly and had a blazer and some shirts made and was very happy.
Nha Trang
I arrived the morning of New Years Eve. At first I was very disappointed, the beach was occupied primarily by overweight middle-aged Russian women and their drunk husbands. Very few girls passed the boner test (it gets better though read). There is a heavy Russian influence in the town to the extent that the locals will approach you speaking Russian as will many Russians who often assume that if you’re white you are Russian.

I spent New Years Eve here so obviously this might not be representative of how it is all the time. After my disappointment at discovering the influx of clammy babushkas earlier in the day, I was delighted when I walked in here around 9pm. The place was packed with a mix of well- dressed and presented Western people (a mix of expats from the cities and tourists) and upper class locals. Surprisingly few Russians considering what I had seen earlier that day however. I enjoyed that they kept all the tables stocked with free cigarettes. The Westerners and Russians all seemed friendly and were getting on well. The club also had a beach DJ area with maybe 1000 people. I pulled a 25 year old English girl from here and the girls were generally very open and easy to talk to. I went back other nights but it was much quieter and while the design of the bar is conducive to meeting and talking to lots of different people I didn’t get any strong leads.
Why Not Bar –
A more backpacker sort of bar with cheaper drinks which attracts a solid crowd but not the type that would appeal to most on here. I have since heard that it has a reputation for being dangerous and a rip off but I did not have any problems.
Mui Ne –
A place I hadn’t heard much about before I went but I had a fantastic experience and it was a highlight. As it has beautiful beaches and often strong winds it attracts a large kite surfing crowd, who are mostly guys but usually very cool chilled dudes . Despite this, at night time it was not at all a cock fest with many Russian girls travelling in small groups together. Russians have even more of a dominance here and I would say when I went out they were maybe 2/3 of the bar. It is a more adventorous and young crowd (read: attractive) than what you will find in Nha Trang
Dragon Garden Bar –
The first night I arrived was a Saturday and I went to the bars with the most online presence, Fun Key Bar and Joe’s Cafe. They were completely dead and thinking “Shit, is this really it?” I nearly got in a taxi to go home. However I remembered walking past this place but it has a large fence around the outside and really gives no impression of how busy it is. It was only 11 at this point so I thought “Fuck it”, turned around and went back there. I walked in and couldn’t believe it, maybe 200 people a great set up with booth areas, a huge square bar counter with five bartenders inside it, a dance club part inside which later became packed, and the South China Sea running along the side. On top of this there were a great ratio and many feminine Russian women. As I was solo I posted up at the bar and quickly got stuck with an IRT telling me about the girls he pulled in Europe, before I ejected and started approaching. The Russian girls were initially very receptive but often the conversation would fizz out due to language barriers.
However as the night went on and the liquor flowed, I embraced a cave man sort of game and became more quickly physical. This led to a make out with a Colombiana but I think I escalated too early by pulling her hair and scared the cat. She ‘went to the bathroom’ and I saw her later but the spark was gone. I was glad this happened however as at some point I came across a Russian 8-9 (no idea what your guys ratings are but she would be in the top 1% in NZ) who I hit it off with. She was sweet, feminine, and a lot fun. Anyhow we went back to her place and I got my first Russian notch. Having a knee-jerk reaction but being with a girl of that quality has given me a bit of a shift, I want to go to Russia and I am feeling even less tolerant than before of BS from entitled Western princesses who offer very little. She had to leave the next day and I think I got some oneitis. I went out the following nights but was not motivated to game aggressively. I met some red pill guys and had some good discussions about game, Western culture and gender relations. I went home a few days later and regret not pushing harder the last few days but it is what it is and I now have some good contacts around Europe.
Other points:
I could have made more effort trying to game local girls but didn’t for a number of reasons:
1.My logistics and accommodation arrangements with family weren’t ideal for it.
2.I don’t really have yellow fever.
3.At home my exposure to feminine Russian women is limited so they took my attention.
For Westerners there is a noticeable difference in the crowd to that found in Thailand. Generalising, Westerners are a bit older and more interested in the culture and history as opposed to many in Thailand who are there to party and relax. I noticed a large number of single 30-35 year old women from the Anglosphere who were bitter about their impending wall victimhood. I made out with a few who shit-tested me about age difference. I turned it back on one of them by agreeing and amplifying which turned got her worked up into a sort of resentful attraction. I hadn’t kissed her at this point but then accidentally burned her with my cigarette. I said sorry then grabbed her and escalated. I let her go later and could have probably pushed for the bang but was having too much fun with people I had met earlier in the trip so wasn’t bothered.
If I went back and had better logistics plus a wing man, and was more focussed I think I could have a great time here game-wise. This trip was very rich culturally however and I gained a lot from it. So 5 makeouts, 2 bangs and I went out 6 times over three weeks.
