Just remember: eating right is 80% of the battle. Do not kill yourself for hours in the gym..1 hr of body-weight training mixed with Swimming, Yoga, and Boxing training will bulk you up, and shred you up in 9 months flat!!
Sylvester Stallone, a guy who has always kept himself in great shape even at his old age today once said "Weight Training will kill your body"....he's dead on! Too many guys focus on lifting steel, and fail to realize that it only serves one purpose: your ego.
Now, of course Gyms will never tell you not to weight train like a mad man....neither will Flex magazine - they would be out of business fast. they want you to firmly believe that 90% of all women want a guy with bulging muscles.....that number is more like 5%.
There is a ton of money to be made making men think they need to be in the gym for hours to get ripped and bulk up for women. I'd guess that 90% of women want a guy that looks more like Ryan Reynolds body and only 5% like the Triple H physique.
I only use my own bodyweight for training: push-ups, pull-ups, chin-ups etc. Many times I'll add a weight vest. That is the body women want...for real! And get out there in nature to train....where it was meant to be..not in an Air Conditioned GYM full of female-ass distracting you!!
Why do I get unconventional positive results with women? Because I follow an unconventional lifestyle that I pick and choose to my liking, not what others do.
