Roissy's test was what to do if a group of girls asked you to take a picture of them with their camera.
I do agree that taking pictures of girls with your own camera, especially of girls you are not fucking, is a great way of lowering your value.

You just changed Roissy's question and that is not fair. If they are all naked and sucking each other's twat and I was having fun with them and IF I thought this spectacle was something I wanted to capture for historical perspective (ie I wanted to get my rocks off at 60), then I would take the photo cause it pleased me....

You are correct. If it is an open it's an open. If so, run with it. I think that with most guys it's not an open but a tooling. This is something that must be calibrated hence the low approval rate from Roissy in his posting.

i have to agree that nothing is ever black and white in the game. just because something would be wildly inappropriate and beta in almost all conceivable situations, doesn't mean it would literally *never* be apropos.

If there's one thing I noticed while being in the "field," particularly hanging out with attractive girls while they're getting hit on 24/7, is that there are no damn rules. If you are worried about constantly giving the impression of being alpha, you're not alpha. The "community" makes it seem like a constant battle, but it's not. Picking up a girl is like learning to dance. You keep training and training, and one day you eventually get in the flow, and you can make anything look good.
The biggest component of being alpha is confidence, and confidence is when you are comfortable in your own shell. If you're going to get all hyphy because some chicas wanna be your mamacitas, then that's your problem. But look at it this way... A girl will approach a guy while she is in a group for two possible reasons: 1) she is attracted to you and wants to open you (which depending on how confident and attractive you are, can be pretty common) or 2) she's the type that likes to get people to do things for her.
In conclusion, there are more important things in life to worry about than whether or not you're going to take a god damn picture.
