I've drank pedialyte in grad school and its good stuff.

Nowadays I don't drink heavily, but for you going on Vegas trips consider stocking up. [Image: wink.gif]

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

^^^What he said. Stuff is the bomb.

This factoid has always stuck in my mind:

...coconut water is so close to natural blood plasma that soldiers in WWII were given direct infusions of coconut water when supplies of blood were low.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Pedialite is a game changer for vacations where you know you'll be going hard for days on end. I don't have any experience with coconut water but will give it a shot to compare.

I remember reading a Kid Rock interview long ago and he said he had a trailer dedicated to stocking Pedialyte. LOL.

Pedilyte is crazy over priced. It's advantage is it has way less sugar then Gatorade.

You can make your own with:

-Potassium "salt" Aka NO SALT and other salt substitutes. -- teaspoon
-Sugar -- Tablespoon
-Salt -- teaspoon

The stuff tastes like shit tho so add some mio or juice crystals and scale back the sugar.

That's basically the main electrlytes found in Gatorade and Pedialyte. A can of salt substitute is like 3-5 bucks while salt and sugar are pennies. You can probably make a gallon of the stuff for 50 cents.

Coconut water is natures Gatorade, you can always just drink that also.
