So apparently Lady Luck has struck me hard, because I got some incredible news today, which has to be the equivalant to winning the travel lottery.

A good friend of mine, who is a manager for mutilple EDM djs, contacted me today to let me know that one of the record labels he works with, is putting together a World Tour for 3 of their djs. He asked if I'd like to join them on the tour, as essentially the MC for the show dates. I had to think for about 1.6 milliseconds, before responding with a 'fuck yes'.

For a cat like me who has never been out of the USA, I'm stoked beyond belief, because essentially I'll finally get to travel and get paid to do it.

I plan on posting the show dates when they are released and when I hit a city where one of you is visiting or living in, planning a meet-up at the show, if you guys are down. Obviously, I'll hook-up tix/backstage passes etc.

Have any of you toured like this before with a band/show? Any tips etc would be great.

Last time I was on a world tour with a rock band I was 3 years old.

The closest I have came lately is in the past few years some of my friends bands invite me when their in town or at a festival in the tri state and they give me back stage passes. I never fucked at any of those shows but I did get some easy numbers. My boy (the drummer) had his pick of what girl he wanted to leave with. It's easy for him. He's not good looking at all. At the end of the day he's hung up on a hot girl who doesn't even like him. A girl I used to fuck. I'm not even semi famous. Go figure.

Congrats brother! I think shots are mandatory for our next meet!

Edit- Some tips for travel-
1) Get a passport and a passport card. The passport card isn't really a legal way to travel, but if you should lose your passport, this will save your ass.
2) Get a suit-case w/a lock. Lock your valuables in the safe or better yet in the suitcase, because you are going to have randoms everyday w/you
3) Moneybelt when transporting valuables- cash, passport, credit cards.
4) Always carry CASH bribe money. Preferably in two or three separate locations
5) Get some good antibiotics (ciproflaxin/ azithromax). This can save you if you get some sort of stomach infection/STD.
6) Carry excess toilet paper. Many countries (Latin/Asian) dont stock TP in their public toilets.
7) Duty-free is going to be your new best friend- cigarettes, booze, chocolates (great for the ladies).
8) Check how to hand-wash clothes in a sink/bath-tub. You might need to do it once in a while.
9) Don't forget to take pictures.... =).

I have never been on tour, but a friend of mine is in the upper echelons of EDM. He just got back from his European leg a couple days ago and I met up with him yesterday. He is visibly frazzled. Ha. Last time I seen him perform (Stockholm 2012) he was much more calm and collected. He was funny and charming and completely at ease surrounded by tall Swedish girls (he is like 5'8"). Now I think he would hide from them.

This time he was hanging a lot with his sister, and I think he is starting to have some trust issues. I also think the Asian leg of his tour kicked his ass and left him no time for recovery before Europe. I cant even begin to imagine the amount of hot women throwing themselves at the guy. I know its A LOT. It changes a man, and the idea of having to trust someone as a friend begins to mean a lot for guys gaining this type of fame.

MaleDefined and DVY gave you solid advice. The only thing I can add is to prove yourself as a reliable, solid guy. There will be times when things start to break down, and as MaleDefined already mentioned, "Pounce".

I was once in a Broadway show. I had a small part. I didn't take it that serious because I was just a kid. Late teens. I tried to bang all the cute girls in the audience. I did get a few cuties, but, I should have been more serious about it. The show was being produced by some big time people. The show eventually went to New York City and Las Vegas. Not saying I would have been a broadway star but I definitely could have had more opportunities for even bigger roles, and more money, and more pussy.
