Here's a link to the full vid:

Lot's of simple stuff here but its good to see it in action.
The back and forth of body language in a social setting can be kinda hard to describe with writing since it's usually happening in fractions of a second.

Soup, great stuff about putting the hands near the crotch. Something I'd not even considered before but the whole holding your glass down low instead of up high at your chest thing I've been doing for a while now and noticed a positive difference in interactions.

I'd like to amend my earlier post.

I realize that it's not about keeping just about keeping your palms down. It's about making sure that they face you- specifically, your crotch.

All of your body language should draw attention to your dick.

When you extend your hand, are there lines that could be drawn to your dick?

I will go out on a limb and posit a theory about this. Intellectual energy is in the head. Soulful energy in the chest. Sexual energy in the crotch.

We are totems of our evolution in this sense.

If someone puts their hand on their head, it means they are focusing their energy on thought. They are thinking and protecting their brains.

If someone puts their hand on their chest, it is a protective measure for their soul or heart (this is why you should never put a "beer shield"- it makes it look like you are worried about someone breaking your heart).

If you direct attention to your crotch, it is a DHV because it means you are not guarding your thoughts or heart. You are totally chill with what you feel or think.

What's left?

Sex.

I liked how the girl with the big teeth went into hardcore flirt mode on the guy and he still just kept looking around for her friend.

My typical pose if I'm standing in a bar is left thumb hooked in my pocket with the other fingers a about a 45 degree angle pointed toward my crotch. My drink is in my right hand, sometimes with the lip of the drink at about the level of my belt, but sometimes I extend my arm almost all the way so the drink is at my crotch level, with my shoulders leaned back and my pelvis thrust a bit forward. Chin tilted up,slight smirk on face.

Try it guys-I'll bet you find girls looking at you, proximity opening you, and outright opening you a lot more often

So a guy's body language focus is on bringing attention toward the crotch. Fair to say a women's is bringing attention to her breast? Doesn't seem like crotch for them as this is a protected region. Or is there no equivalent for females?

All the time. I'm constantly checking in with my body language.

I try to make sure that my crotch area is not guarded- I frame it. It's not like I'm going around sticking it out too much. I think about my crotch.

I try to stand as if I'm be held up by a string attached to the center of the top of my far head.

There's not tension. All movements graceful. Never have your crotch tucked inward. You want to have open and big body language that suggest that you own the area around you.

Also, if I can't feel the weight of my body, it means that I'm too tense and can be easily toppled.

I usually need to feel the weight of my body pushing down into the floor of the bar. I try to get to a place where it feel like I'm anchored 5 feet beneath the floor level. Let your muscles relax and feel your own body weight. That's power.

If you feel it or think about, other people will as well.

Look at women's clothing. It's almost always designed to draw your attention to their reproductive organs. That's their goods.

Guy's don't wear clothes like that unless they are gay.

Body language can subconsciously draw attention to your sex.

I have girls compliment or notice my walk as sexy. Like an animal one girl said. The real slutty ones will even say things like "wow, you've really perfected that swagger." It's true to some extent. I've worked very hard to get as sexy a walk as possible.

the walk is important. i just got called on having a 'strut' the other day. she loved every second of it. i strutted her right home to her house.

one thing that video said which is true, is that women are constantly putting out positive body language even if they dont really mean it. damn near every single girl that comes near me does the hair fix over the ear thing or hair flick. as much as i would like to think it does, it still doenst mean every girl out there wants to bone me.

Soup did you do anything specific to work on developing a better walk?

Perhaps break it down here or a new thread?

Keeping the drink low is definitely a strong move. Basically, as a guy, you never want to be waving anything around your face when you're out gaming - hands, drink, etc.

Yes- I watched "code of the natural".

I also walk around imagining that I'm hanging from a string that's attached to the top/near-front of my head. When I want to walk, I imagine the other end of the string being moved in the direction I want to go, and it pulls me along with it.

It's kind of like being a suit on a hanger being led around.

This way my energy doesn't slump or get wrinkled (imagine a suit crumpling to the floor without being held up by the hanger).

I try to stay conscious of any tensions in my body and do stretches to relieve them.

To build on Soup's advice for walking, one thing that can help is to walk using the power of your hamstrings and glutes, as opposed to how most people walk, which is to be bent forward at the waist and propelling yourself upwards and forwards with the quads and calves. Maintaining an upright posture while using your hamstrings to power your movement pushes your crotch forwards, and makes you look like you're gliding across the ground (like a sprinter in the mid portion of a race when they are using nearly all hamstrings and glutes), not all jerking up and down and bent over because of tight hip flexors. I walk like this naturally due to having been taught to move with my hamstrings in sprinting, and can remember loads of compliments over the years, including the moving like an animal one a few times as with Soup. Try it, you will feel the difference.

^^^This. I recently changed my running form to correct anterior pelvic tilt. Basically I used to run leaning forwards from the waist. Now that I've loosened my hip flexors I can run upright, and boy my hams and glutes really feel the difference! I walk much more smoothly and lightly now, too.

Yet at the end it sounds like she basically wasn't into him at all.

I think part of the point was that she doesn't realize her intentions are so clear - she may not even be aware of her intentions.

Also, she may have lost interest in the guy later on after the clips we saw due to his insecurity around the other guys. My guess would be that she'd quickly "forget" her subconscious interest in such a case.

I don't know if this has been posted before—and I apologize if it has—but the best video I've watched on understanding body language and explaining the tell tale signs of various body language techniques has got to be this one. It's an hour long but it's worth the watch.
