Yeah lets brainstorm on this...To date I've traveled to over 45 countries and It would be dope to have a name for this interest with it's hyrbrid of the unexplored lands, high life, exotic women, 1st class flights and sleepless nights.

Is this even a niche? What single guy goes overseas and doesn't want to fuck a local woman?

i think this is a niche.

most ppl travel for adventure and culture ect. i dont think most ppl travel with one of their MAIN priorities ie actually planning and thinking about how and where to go to score a local flag.

this is a diff beast imo. just go to any major travel sites forum. its completely diff from this travel forum.

Some good points. How can it get recognized if it doesn't even have a clear and simple name that is easy to recognize and remember? The PUA tag (Pick Up Artist) that some use sounds awful in itself. P-i-c-k U-p A-r-t-i-s-t. It sounds terrible. I never understand why so many people insist on using this tag. I personally get goosegumps whenever I hear that term. Seriously, do you really consider yourself Pick Up ARTISTS?

Yes you might argue you are mastering the art of secuding women, but seriously is it necessary to use that word artist? So following that logic, someone who masters the art of football, should be called as football artist instead of a football player? Kung fu artist instead of kung fu fighter? Language artist instead of language speaker? Marketing artist instead of marketing expert? Pizza artist or pizza cook?

No! Don't make it more difficult than it is. A guy who chases girl is a PLAYER as simple as that. It's the most common and reknown description for guys who chase skirt. Why would you try to reinvent something that is already working perfect. If you want to make it more sophisticated, you can consider yourself a PLAYBOY. If you do that while traveling you are a playboy traveler or just international playboy.

Pick Up Artist? Give me a break. I can't help to wonder whenever I come across a blog titled PUA-something, how can they really consider themselves so good and creative with women, if they insist on using such a lame and unconventional-in-the-wrong-direction name. Maybe you're not that creative and good after all, PUAs?

Every idea has to seem simple. Learn from the best business examples and don't invent new words if there are already the ones that are perfectly fitting the description, and are recognzied in the culture, and have simple brand recognition, such as the term "Playboy".

Another trivia fact, the word "Playboy" has such a huge brand recognition, that people who don't know English know what's it about thanks to the famous magazine and the media portraying Hugh Hefner as THE Playboy. Not everyone speaks English in this world, and not everyone knows the phrasal verb "to pick up". Anyone ever seen that movie where the Italian guy walks up to the American chick on the street and tells her that he doesn't want to come across as "to pick her out"? Yeah, it was "Under the Tuscan Sun".

Of course if you still like the term PUA you have the right to disagree. But I'm no PUA. It just sounds funny.

so what about "this" niche? any good ideas for a term on travel geared to single men looking for local women, crazy nightlife, adventure ect.

Make sure you do a good job to separate it from sex tourism, which is going abroad and paying for it.

Whats the name for this niche?

Prime example is a couple months ago when I was in Costa Rica.

Most guys at my hostel wanted to go sight seeing, or go on hikes or some other outdoorsy stuff during the day. I wanted to go to the local square, malls, ect to day game and get numbers and meet local girls.

Then at night most guys either just wanted to get wasted at the hostel or maybe go to a bar or club to get wasted. Notice main priority was getting drunk. While I wanted to go to bars and club with the SOLE purpose of getting a SNL.

Its def not the same.....

I personally hate the term PUA for some reason. I think it's simply maneuvering an interaction to gain a desired result, finesse, that can be either applied to land a piece of ass or land a sale, whatever. I definitely consider the culture when I pick a vacation spot, but I consider almost the chics almost as much, day and night activities are two different worlds to me while on vacation.

There's an english word that rarely used - gallivanting. Merriam Webster describes it as:

1: to go about usually ostentatiously or indiscreetly with members of the opposite sex
2: to travel, roam, or move about for pleasure

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gallivant

There's also hedonism but it doesn't have a verb, only a noun, adjective & adverb.

Thing is, I travel not just solely for women - doing so would just be dysfunctional to the point that it could be a disease (anyone watch 'The Man Who Loved Women'? The french original was more raw & better than the Burt Reynolds version). I travel to also enjoy better weather, food, interact & socialize with other cultures, discover business opportunities, search for ways to protect my assets & lower my taxes offshore, etc. This to me is a more complete lifestyle.

That said, I do like poonquistador or pussy hunter, as dysfunctional & childish as it sounds [Image: smile.gif]

Some good suggestions in here, I liked most "pussy arbitrage" by subutai and "being a man" by Roosh the most but my definition of my lifestyle is more in tune with the description that exe gave. Sure it's nice to be with hot, sexy, feminine and exotic women, but that to me is the icing on the cake, there are other reasons I like to travel the world to paraphrase exe "I travel to also enjoy better weather, food, interact & socialize with other cultures, discover business opportunities, search for ways to protect my assets & lower my taxes offshore, etc. This to me is a more complete lifestyle." I call it the jet set living.

Me and my friends use to call us the mythhunters. If you think about it we normally talk about myths. Places with beautiful women, great food, great weather, etc, etc.
