If you could go back to college...
10-25-2012, 11:44 AM
What would you do differently?
I feel I wasted my freshman/sophomore years by being pretty oblivious to game. I got laid a bunch, but definately not as much as I potentially could have.
Learning and harnessing game at this point (my senior year); I feel like I need to really milk the college experience (women wise). My schedule is very lax this semester and the new batch of babes that came in this year is incredible. My school is 4 girls to 1 guy, and no, I'm not a nursing major...
My question to you all is...If you could go back, what would you do differently? Or what would you tell your son/nephew to do?
Looking for somewhat pragmatic answers- nothin' like "show your weiner to the librarian!" . I've done that, it didn't work out too well.
Lookin forward to it!

I'm in my last year, but say I was in my last year of highschool going into university I wouldn't really change much from what I did girl wise. Sure I missed out on a lot of opportunities, but they've shaped me into who I am today. I enjoy the learning process and have an entire decade left of easy sex with 18-22 year olds. What I would have changed though is: learning better time management, putting more effort into my classes, coming up with an actual path to follow, hitting the gym seriously before first year even started, different class choices, making more friends, joining clubs/extracurricular activities etc...

Participate in more activities, don't say no to anything and take more risks, focus on bettering yourself now, approach female classmates. I'm 3 years out of college and was basically a timid fat bitch. You're only in college once, just do it.

I was the low-key stoner that get's hammered on the weekends type. I had a gf almost the entire time and while she was an 8, the development of my Game and social skills from being out more vs. movies and shit with her all the time would have been a wiser route.
I regret not approaching girls and not hitting the gym as much.
I also deep down regret going to a very "Greek" SEC school even though I do love the school. All the frats were old south country boy style for the most part and weren't options for me. I'd have enjoyed a less frat driven party scene or at least a more tolerable style of frat.

Based on your original post it sounds like you're trying to live out the American Pie film fantasy lol. To answer your question I'm currently still in college but I haven't registered for classes in almost a year. Truth be told, while I did get some lays from a few girls, I was never really looking for shags, I was there to learn. However as you can imagine that wasn't really much fun. When(not if) I go back to college this is what I plan on doing differently- 1. Flirt with more girls and exercise my game muscles. I believe I have proficient game experience to satisfy my current needs but I would like to expand out of my comfort level and venture into unknown territory. College is the best place for this because you have such a diverse group of chicks from different socio-economic backgrounds and you really dont even need to search so hard. Doing this really sharpens your game like a two edged sword from which you wield even greater power over your targets.

Prepared for a career more....the economy is a bitch and yes enjoy school while you are there, but don't be stupid and completely ignore that you will be entering the economy after school. Spend at least some time (in between the classes and partying, yadda yadda yadda) getting your resume good, making contacts and at least being somewhat prepared for your career after school. Do all this NOW instead of after graduating.

Didn't get laid at all in college. Was clueless about game, face hadn't matured, glasses, didn't work out.
Want to go back looking like I do and knowing what I do now. I missed out on so many prime years with the hottest women.

In terms of game?
If I knew then what I knew now
- faithful? for what?
- banged a lot more chicks - I can think of about 20 that gave me the not-so-obvious signs.
- avoided a few chicks I did bang.
In terms of education
- ee/cs + bs in Biz

I mean, do you know what SEC schools (besides Florida) are all about?
I regret being as big as an asshole as I was freshman and to a lesser extent, sophomore year. Social circle game woulda helped me A LOT in the dorms, but instead, I just got a reputation for being a huge prick. People who I hadn't even met knew me because of the reputation. I mellowed out later on, but trying so hard to be a "cool, jerk" type definitely cost me bangs and even possible friendships.

If I were able to tell college freshman self anything, I would tell me this:
-Study harder
-Practice your instrument more often
-Don't be so anti-social because you think people are stupid
-Join clubs/activities
-You project your reality and can do anything you want
-Don't be scared to smoke a lil' weed
-Don't drink to get wasted
-Gym membership is included in tuition - lift weights daily
-Don't spend so much time at home - go out to study/homework
-Speak up, don't be shy
-Utilize all the help available
-You are good looking and girls want to bang you
But since I can't go back and tell freshman Fujiwara that, I just try to do these things in my post-college life today.
I'll be sure to tell my son this - but you know how your old man's advice goes when you're young and stupid

*take more upper division psychology classes for the scores of women in the class and they were simple as hell to boot. Art classes too. I did this senior year after I finished most of my regular courses and I had the best time ever.
*would have double majored to get a business degree even if it took summer school to do so
*would have talked to way more girls in class
*biggest regret is not going to study abroad or doing some summer class trips out of the country because I wanted to "party with my bros and hang in my home town" instead.

Study engineering or medicine
Attend classes and study in libraries
Eat healthy and hit the gym
Minimize the drugs and booze; avoid TV, video games, movies and porn
Network hard early and extensively
Live alone and be selective of friends
Avoid professional student organizations
Roll dolo on Thursdays; rely on pipe-lining for weekends through day game and social circles
Bang the hoes first then chill with your bros - You'll hate yourself less about it

A Jewish doctor told me the Jewish wisdom for picking a profession:
If your kid is really smart, have him be a doctor.
Not quite as smart, lawyer.
Not so smart, accountant.
This was from about 20-30 years ago, and lawyers may not make as much on average now relatively, and Engineering is left out, but the accounting/finance thing is good if you aren't much academically.
I went for social sciences and have been grossly outearned by medical guys my whole career.
Health care is good because it's not zero sum, you can make money without screwing someone else like you have to in stock trading, a lot of biz stuff.

Doctor, lawyer, engineer, accountant is pretty standard amongst all the overachieving immigrant types.
If I would of redone college:
- I would of taken my classes seriously, and just studied them normally vs trying to find some bullshit 80/20 trick. I would attend every class.
- I would of formed a study group for each class, makes everything much better and studying a lot quicker and easier.
- I would start and go to social activities on my campus at least 3 times a week.
- I would of made more friends, approached more girls, etc. Doing social activities 3 times of week would of helped me develop that.
- I would of finished in 4 years vs taking longer.
- I would of manned up and just finished my math requirements vs dragging my feet.
- I would of gone for internships in my 1st year vs my 3rd year and just did paid internships instead of crappy part-timer jobs.
- If it made sense money wise, I would not live with my parents
- If it didn't make sense money wise, I would just accept logistics are just going to be harder and scout for poor student places.
- I would of taken more pictures. And backed them the fuck up!
Edit:
- I would of dropped to low body fat and become muscular. You have a lot more time & flexibility to focus on shit like that. Hit the gym.
- Take fucking advantage of exchange program semesters.
- Become a yoga teacher
- Try to finish all of your homework in the school library, leave school at school, and have home be a non-school place. That work/home separation does wonders for your concentration. Just remember to pack enough food.

I would have dual majored in marketing and computers. Nobody thought much about computers in the 70's. They were big clunky, mainframe things. Programmers learned on punch cards.
Then along came the puter revolution in the 80's and look who's laughing now.
I was interested in computers during high school, but I had a fossil of an algebra teacher who convinced my parents they were just a fad.
Unfortunately he continued teaching for many years, screwing up other kids' futures.
