I agree. Inability to flirt is more a function of the type of girl that goes into engineering than her being Indian. I.e., less attractive, less social, etc.

From my perspective living in London/England to be honest I can't really corroborate the stereotypes of Indian dudes people are listing down here. I think the reason why Indian dudes behave the way they do or minorities in American in general is specific to the psychological strain of living in a society like America where you're routinely reminded how "inferior" you are to whites. The resulting effect is when something is denied to you or claimed to be "superior" to you over time you come to prize it and overvalue it, hence the apparent obsession with white women alot of minorities in America have. An obsession minorities in England don't have, hence my frequently incredulous reaction when people round here try to tell me blacks guys can't get quality white women yeah if you say so bro. I'm not saying that these stereotypes don't exist but living in London and my experiences in University I've met way too many cool Indian/Sri Lankan dudes with game. Living in England as a "minority" I would say from the anecdotes and stories from this forum sounds alot more pleasant than in America. In England which has its problems but for the most part you don't have a strictly demarcated racial totem pole as you do in America and the residual emotional and psychological toll it has.
Its the reason why people grow up for the most part with a healthy racial perspective and why I think brown guys do well where I'm from, white women aren't held up and pedestalized as the ultimate prize, you don't live in a society that tries to claim you're inferior so getting a white girl isn't a big deal and something to feel especially proud about.

I think it's great that the UK is very tolerant and welcoming of others. However people unfortunately have to face up to the stark reality that is also apparent now in the UK.

Our most favourable trait - i.e. tolerance is also our worst enemy and undoing. We have been so welcoming of others that our own identity has been eroded. British culture has been trodden on and beaten until it's almost dead for the sake of others.

The result is English people are afraid to demonstrate their pride in their history and nationality.

Whereas Americans for all their faults are proud to be American and to demonstrate it, which I admire.

Therefore you can't have one without the other.

I concur. London is teeming with Indians. I used to roll with a few (one Pakistani, one Indian, one from Goa) and none of them had any problems with white lizards. It boiled down to game in the UK. UK doesn't on a base level seperate behaviour according to race. If you are born in Britain (or sound British) no one seems to give a fcuk what your background is.
Arab cats, Indians, Africans, Caribbean were all chopping all sorts of reptiles.

This is why I am often thrown as to why guys go so nuts over eating light meat over here (North America).

That's pretty interesting about England. I didn't know it was like that. Yeah, if you don't look white in America, you're facing an uphill battle with those girls and lots of other things.

The majority of Indians in the UK now, at least the ones you will meet in the clubs and at university are third generation and have completely integrated into British society. When you ask them where they are from, they quote their area code whereas in Canada, cats quote home lands (not North America).
I find Toronto to be brand new in terms of immigration and most cats I come across, especially the ones in their late 30's and even younger are not even born in Canada.

In the UK, I meet cats in their 40's and 50's that wereborn and bred in the UK. So the mentality is different which is always the case with FOB vs BAB (Born and Bred).

This is not being a troll, this is expected behaviour for an Indian from India. They are used to living in tight spaces in very close proximity to one another. Personal space is non existent. Three generations of the family live in one house, sharing one, or maybe two bathrooms at the most. It's not because they are poor, it's cultural.

I was in the Delhi earlier this year and the Metro is more modern and cleaner than the one in Toronto. Anyhow, the Metro is packed, and all the seats are taken. I see two guys across from me, one guy is sleeping, while resting his head on the other guy's shoulder. Both are grown men in their 20s or 30s. The train stops at a station, the guy who sleeping gets up, picks up his bag, and walks out. Not one word was said between the two men. They were complete strangers.

Last week I was in an area with a heavy Indian population, most 1st and 2nd gen stateside not fresh off the boat (I was trying to get my Indian race card, but god damn those girls are super entitled and weird). Anyway the Indian guys I met were actually pretty cool though, they basically acted like normal dudes and one guy even had a couple flags. The girls on the other hand acted ungodly spoiled.
