Brazilians tend to watch it at home. I remember reading an article 4 years ago about a guy who went to Rio for the world cup and found it hard to find a crowd.

Chile was really giving it to Honduras. Lucky they only ceded 1 goal.
It's fucked up to see a ref decide who he wants to win. The U.S. won that game but now may not move on because of a fraudulent call. Unfuckingreal.
And the referee of germany - serbia is corrupt too.
As unhappy as I was to see the US get robbed, I was very content so see English fans booing their own against Algeria.

Cry, the beloved (and belabored) vuvuzela

A massive swarm of bees. Africa's revenge. The instrument from hell. World Cup soccer fans have found a number of descriptive ways to express their dismay over the vuvuzela noisemakers and their relentless, monotonous B-flat buzzing.
But Africans are rising to defend the horns and they're doing it in spiritual terms. "The vuvuzela is a biblical instrument; it is a trumpet, and God expects us to blow the trumpet in offering praise to him," Jacqueline Chireshe of Botswana told the Mail and Guardian.
Members of the Nazareth Baptist Church in South Africa do use the vuvuzela that way. Each year, church members walk barefoot to the holy mountain of Mount Nhlangakazi, north of Durban, accompanied by the vuvuzela, which they consider a religious symbol.
Tinyiko Maluleke, president of South Afrfic's council of churches, called the vuvuzela "the last of our cultural weaponry."
"It is an instrument of assertion," Maluleke wrote in his blog. "With it we demand to be heard, to be seen and to be felt. The VUVUZELA howl is the desperate cry of a continent long rendered inaudible and invisible. The Vuvuzela sound is the cry of a people dying to be seen and heard. It is a plea to be heard differently and seen differently - to be heard and seen in positive light.
"The Vuvuzela personifies the cry of Africa today. It is not merely or only an outward cry - for Africa is not entirely without blame for its own misery. So the Vuvuzela calls for action. When we blow it, we are summoning Bafana (the South African national team) into action. As we bathe the crowds in its unruly sounds, we will be calling on Africa to stand up and be counted. We blow it for an end to the marginalization of Africa and we blow it for an end to war and corruption in Africa itself."

Yeah, it seems brazilians tend to watch the games at home and throw parties. On my Orkut and Facebook I saw a ton of my friends had parties or went to parties at friends houses.

Went to see the game in the "Casa do Brazil" in Lisbon. Great great atmosphere I missed Brazil. Beer, beer, party and beautiful and easygoing woman.
Maybe I´ll follow Roosh steps and go there for a while, just not to Rio.
Brazil played well. Kaka will not play against Portugal. Since Brazil is already qualified I expect us to only loose by one or two.

After watching that Brazil and Ivory Coast game with the guy that ran into Kaka at the end of the game and acted like he just got hit by truck I wonder why more soccer players don't go to Hollywood?
