How do you use the search function on the forum?

Just wondering if you guys use the Google search or the in-house search tool. Looking if there is room for possible improvements.

I use it to find old posts that are too far back to scroll through... so I usually quote "key words" that I remember were in the post topic or an individual post in order to find them.

Same as Gmac, and also use it to track down info on cities that don't necessarily have their own dedicated thread.

It would be cool if users could be searched by country. Other than that I use the forum search quite fine. I don't think I've used the Google function. Are any additional features available in the Google search?

I use the google option out of courtesy to save on bandwidth costs for the site. I know other forums which have had to disable their search function and just use a google hack instead because it was just eating up too much server resources.

How do you use the search function on the forum?

Whenever I search the forum, I actually go to Google and search RVF through there, not at all through RVF itself

for example "site:rooshvforum.network chill playlist" is how I'd search

Usually only search when I'm looking for city info. I type in the name of the city in the forum search to search through entire posts and list the results as posts.

I use both the forum and google searches. They work great once you get the hang of it (in 30 secs). I search by name and key words. I wish more guys took the time to use it properly.

Wait a sec, I read this wrong, where's the option for those that don't use the search function? I use it all the time, but dangnabbit, I know plenty of repeat topics that would've benefited from people just using the search function.
