>>You said that you don't know how successful these "sophisticated Turks" are with women at your chose social activity, so how do you know they are not sleazy types as is the status quo?

Maybe you don't know how to behave in certain social situations. I'm certainly not going to ask some guy that I just met at, let's say, a chess group, "hey, you making any headway with the women here?" But In all likelihood, these Turks are looking for wives. Most of them seem to be involved with business in Ukraine, though I don't pump for details since I'm focussed on the activity and don't much care about these Turks and what their goals are.

In case you don't know, Turkey does a huge amount of business with Ukraine. For example, I've noticed a lot of plumbing fixtures, doors, elevators and similar construction material in newer buildings is made in Turkey. I also know Turks are heavily involved in the financing, construction and owning of new buildings. One of the 3 big Telecom networks is Turkish owned. Probably a lot of these higher class Turks are thinking of combining business and pleasure by marrying a Ukrainian woman to get Ukrainian residency and better insider connection to Ukrainian society, to improve their ability to do business there. These tend to be secular Turks and having an escape route in case Erdogan gets really extreme is added motivation to make a Ukrainian connection.

As for me, I look western European. I easily pass as a native in France, since highest percentage ancestry from there, but could also easily be northern Spanish or northern Italian, maybe western German. One person who could easily pass for a Turk is the owner of this forum, with or without his beard. He didn't seem to have problems with women in Ukraine on account of his looks, as I recall from Bang Ukraine which I read long ago.

Probably there are lower class Turks who fly to Kyiv with their 6 months savings, sleep 10 to a room in some cheap shared apartment owned and managed by some other Turk, hassle women in the street for freebies, go on mongering missions to the local whore bars, strip clubs, apartment brothels, etc. That's not my thing, so I never encounter such Turks.

I was recently in Bulgaria, which has a substantial ethnic Turkish population, especially in the eastern Rhdopes. My impression of both the people and their villages was very favorable. (By contrast, never have I seen such absolute rabble as the ethnic gypsies of Bulgaria.) I also spent some time traveling in Turkey long ago (even learned about 500 words of Turkish), which also gave me a favorable impression of middle class and higher Turks. So maybe I am a little biased in favor of Turks, though of course I'm more biased in favor of slavs, which is why I send my 90 days outside Schengen in Ukraine rather than Turkey.

@ PoiIny_Sostav. I appreciate your response...however, I’m actually not trying to “force” the “insignificant” sport of golf in Ukraine. It’s a sport I play and enjoy in my home country regularly. I’d play and practice in a open field alone if I had to...it’s my relaxation and thinking time. I don’t play to pick up girls.

Your response and the wording you used tell me a lot though. There is a Shakespearean saying - he doth protest too much.

Parliament of Ukraine, due to recent tensions with Russia in Azov sea, just approved martial law for 60 days (at least).

It is not clear yet what exact consequences would that have for citizen, let alone for foreigners.

The situation will be rapidly unfolding within next few days...
This shit could become really ugly, as it's essentially state of emergency applied for the whole country.

pardon me if I offended you. That wasn't my intention. I am not a native English speaker by the way. I was just surprised , it is common knowledge that golf is not a popular sport outside a few countries.

At this time, it is only applied to regions which border Russia. https://t.co/GnSwFrWUGx

well, the key here is "at this time". No one will stop them if they will decide to apply it countrywide.

Basically, what they did is they've established platform for military dictatorship.

Quite ironic, as the whole maidan movement started as a fight for freedom and democracy.

They're very unlikely to apply it nationwide, they've applied it to the Oblasts bordering Russia as they claim to have evidence of a planned "Russian Invasion", They've been saying that same shit for years to get money from the West of course.

Lviv for example attracts a lot of tourists these days, Christmas is very busy, they're not going to fill the place with armed soldiers, even afterwards. Kiev is the capital and it will be business as usual there too

They should press gang or offer citizenship to the Turkish sex tourists in Kiev. Most of them already served in Turkey's army so they might do ok against Russians* (in theory: Turkish hasn't fought a real war since the 1910s).

Think Poroshenko got scared of the dictator accusations from the opposition like Timoshenko.

Do not give a shit too much what some people tell here about turks.

Turkey has advanced a lot in these decades and they have put themselves as a strong sate in world affairs,, plus success of turkey in cinematography, tourism, military industry, construction, medicine is to be highly valued.

Ukraine is to a certain degree a mega brothel, we all know that. They have already created that reputation, and many Ukrainian men also have their own big share of fault with what they have created, it is not just the fault of the women.

Being such a country you will have turks go there for sex tourism.

I know turks who go for sex tourism in serbia also.

I know 2 turks, who are friends of mine. that have worked with construction companies in Russia. They were half Albanian from their father side, part of the old Ottoman elite.

They told me that, many women in russia were in desperate need for sex, as many russian men were drunk or did not care about them. Some of these russian women also went near them, as gold diggers, because they knew what salaries they were getting.

I am against sex tourism myself, but these countries have paved the road for what was coming .

People also forget that turkey is a mixed nation with many nations inside.

Many of these turks are Kurds, that are poor and do not know how to game or go to eastern europe just to bang prostitutes.

Never underestimate the ignorance of the people

Btw, if you look western europan , it is very probably of you to be Albanian. There are supposed to be 5-8 million Albanians or half Albanians in Turkey, they played a huge role not just in the Ottoman empire, but also in the Rep of turkey from the formation and on.

You might also be of Bosnian heritage or Circissian, they are also e few millions.

Just a thought btw, it is not necessary for you to have any kind of relation with any of these nations.

From which part of Turkey are your parents ?

I wont bite too much, but those have us that have been to Ukraine(and other places) know exactly what Turks are like

I have a Turkish friend, whenever we tell him something bad about Turks it's the same answer "They're not actually Turks, they're Kurds!!" [Image: smile.gif]

Didn't hear him talking about Albanians as well LOL

Turks are not necessarily bad people, but many of them are little little children, probably from being spoiled when young. It sometimes works with Ukrainian girls because they can be very simple too.

Did you speak Russian or Ukrainian? And if they are not sluts, how come you got to bang them? Or you found the few sluts among the many non-sluts?

Not Jaygg but this is a stupid question, he obviously put in effort with them. Ukrainian girls tend to follow the 3 date rule, sometimes they don't and sometimes it's longer but the 3 date rule very much applies.

I do disagree with him though, Ukraine and Kyiv especially is hell on earth but then I strongly favour Russia and not some backwater although I did like Lviv on my brief visit which was a breath of fresh air compared to Kyiv.
