I totally agree with you!!

It would explain why Melbourne holds the biggest numbers for a Slut Walk in the world.

They should rename it 4Walk. You’ll never see more 4s in your life

In Melbourne they’re probably considered 6s which is the sad thing

Always find it hilarious when Aussie's bang on about "rights". Australia does not have a Bill of Rights.

Anyway, video starts with this guy resisting arrest and then being forcibly arrested but doesn't show what happened before that to lead to his arrest.
Can anyone shed light?

We all have rights, inherent to being men under God.

Some governments do not respect that and punish people that try to exercise those rights, but that doesn't mean we don't have them, only that we have not yet won the ability to exercise them without fear of repercussions.

The right to bear arms for example is not a magical product of American dirt (that varies in power from state to state). It is a bedrock principle that is as relevant in Beijing as it is in Texas. It's just that one group of government assholes stomps on it more than another group of government assholes.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Maybe the cops were just arresting him for bad taste in women.

At the risk of de-railing this thread, I strongly disagree with pretty much everything you wrote and particularly that the "right to bear arms" is a "bedrock principle" or anything other than an Americanism.

There are no inherent "rights" granted by God, the universe or anything other than ourselves. "Rights" are a purely human construct.
I doubt the lion, or more likely hippo, cared about the rights of our ancestors when killing them. Or a shark cares when coming across an unwary surfer/swimmer.

You're focusing on the legal term "rights".

What it's really about is no legalese cock-blocking when it comes to taking care of yourself.

In your shark and surfer scenario, neither the shark or the surfer are prevented legally (by force or fines) from defending themselves. The surfer can punch and slash the shark and the shark can chomp the surfer and whatever consequences there are will just be. They have the "right" to move about wherever they want and to use everything within their natural capability.

There are no legal structures or rules of law in the natural world, only the "laws of nature", physics, cause and effect etc.

So to bring this back around to Slut-Walking... imagine what would happen if this slut walk was attempted in a place with different laws, like for example deep in Somalia or some full blown Islamic nation... or in the natural world pre-man made laws.

Seems so.
Sydney had a problem with Lebanese mafia for a time there. Yet that was all largely relegated to the lesser side of town.
Now, Sydney's only real problems are traffic & lack of infrastructure.

Whereas Melbourne also has those problems, along with occasional Islamic extremism. Frequent African migrant thuggery. Plus a whole host of Soycialists ready to defend all the nonsense...
As well as worse weather.

Even when Lauren Southern visited Australia. The Melbourne Pantifa 'tards came out in force. Whereas in Sydney, no one really made a fuss at all.
