I ordered a copy earlier today without any problems. I hope it arrives in a couple of weeks.

For the “private company can do what it wants” crowd, please clarify this fine point for me.

Amazon, Twitter, Facebook, Google, YouTube, etcetera may be private companies, though they are traded publicly, and they answer to shareholders and advertisers primarily, but the guts of every single platform is the Internet, and the Internet was created by the US government, so HOW is a company that is reliant on a government network not bound by the constitution of the United States?

Isn’t that more or less like declaring your backyard as Petoria?

They are all platforms built on Government infrastructure. They are basically spy agencies by proxy on top of that. They are the government. The “private company can do what it wants” argument is a cop out. It’s ok for big tech giants to disregard the 1st amendment, but it’s not ok for the NFL to prohibit players from kneeling due to the 1st amendment, or for a cake shop to refuse to bake gay wedding cakes?

It can’t go both ways.

This is something similar to the "public airwaves" baloney. Do you think that has worked well for things like radio and television?

Regarding the posts that are comparing Sears to Amazon, I don't personally see Amazon collapsing like Sears.

Nobody saw this happening to Sears fifty years ago. They are hardly the only ones--FW Woolworth, Montgomery Ward, and A&P.

Hey, Roosh. I am late to this thread, but have lots of comments and opinions. I wrote and published my own novel on Amazon several years ago. It's a sci-fi dystopian novel. You can get away with politics more in those.

Many authors like myself have worried about things like this. While Amazon has made it possible for authors to make more money than ever before, it's also become a virtual monopoly who can now make or break an author. We also realize that Barnes and Noble has no interest in competing with Amazon. We are more optimistic about the alliance with Kobo and Walmart.

That being said, this kind of censorship is nothing new on Amazon. I post on a forum called Dirty Discourse. You should check it out. It's mostly authors of erotica. Amazon has been censoring erotica that they consider wrong for a long time. They censor lots of stories involving steps, for example--step-parents and step-children.

Some authors also find their books removed from searches. They call this the "dungeon." It's still possible for people to buy your book. But they can only find it with a direct link.

Erotica writers are already starting their own systems to sell books. It won't be shocked if this continues.

I forgot to mention something else about this. Do you know who has NOT said a word about this censorship by sites like Amazon, Google, Youtube, and Twitter? That's the Electronic Frontier Foundation. I find it very interesting that they have been very gungho about net neutrality at the physical layer. However, they do not seem to care at all about net neutrality at the application, transport, and network layers. So, Time Warner and Comcast should provide equal access and not favor anyone's packets over any others. But, it's perfectly okay for the likes of Google and Twitter to favor some applications over others.

When you buy paper at Office Depot, do they ask what you are going to print on the paper? No, they just sell you paper; and you can do what you want with it. Of course, Office Depot could say: "Don't sell any paper to Roosh." Then, you could just go somewhere else and buy the paper.

Ultimately, we need more competition in these companies. We do have a healthy competition with Hulu and Netflix. We have healthy competition in some other areas, like hosting companies and web platforms.

What I find especially ridiculous is that much of this censorship is actually performed by bots and other programs. It's not even a decision made by a human. That way, nobody has to take responsibility for it. People can just say, "It's the computer's fault."

This is all consistent with the general character of techies. They generally seem themselves as geniuses, even though they aren't that smart. And they definitely get off on playing god.

Surely there must be some Amazon shareholders in RVF. As a shareholder you should complain that the company is failing in its commitment to shareholders by pursuing arbitrary political agendas over profits.

The EFF is compromised. Even the ACLU, former defenders of the free speech of the KKK, have turned over and said that they would no longer be defending free speech that is deemed "hate speech". These groups become compromised when they open their doors. The cockroaches get in and never leave. It is noteworthy that "certain groups" that we all might be familiar with that do their own kind of propagandising... the kind of groups that maintain "lists" of "hate groups" for example... those groups keep their true members close. They keep their books closed like the mob. Why is that?

In any case, I would not be relying on any help from outside groups like that. Individual attorneys... maybe. But, it's like you said, alternative and competitive platforms must be developed.

Currently out of office.

Just throwing this out there since I’ve been looking into having a book published and came across a local company who has a book printer and they will print you off published book, from their archives or your own personal book, if you send them a properly formatted .pdf
Is something like this potentially viable. Are they likely one of many or is this unique?
Cost was like $7 CAD plus a few cents per page, for a soft cover. I know distribution would be the next hurdle but could you work out a deal where customers buy the .pdf from you, their info gets sent to this publishing company and they drop ship to the customer. Just a thought... sounds like lots of guys want a hard copy.

I see people are still posting here so I wanted to share something.

I’m not sure how much good it would do, but it’s certainly a tree worth shaking. Some have suggested in earlier pages of this thread to get on the line with an Amazon support rep right away.

I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against Amazon. It’s still early in the process and I am waiting to hear back, and while I can’t share the language of my complaint, the general reasoning is that I bought a product (Game) and they are refusing to sell me additional products by an author when they were actively selling such products roughly a month ago, (for years) and will not explain to me why they have decided to refuse to sell me these products.

I will post the outcome, but probably won’t copy and paste actual language due to privacy issues. I might just redact the email and post a screenshot.

This is a customer service issue and every company under the sun wants to have a clean record with the BBB.

I suggest you do the same. The publicly available link to file a complaint against Amazon is Here

Don’t bother posting a “review” or “comment”. Look for the orange “Submit a Complaint” button. I recommend you present yourself as unemotional, respectful, and factual. I’d say keep obscenities out completely.

If every active member on this forum did the same and it was clearly not a form letter-writing campaign, (the complaints varied in nature and were for different reasons but centered around kind of the same issue) I think you might see the needle move some.

Here’s hoping.

The left and the establishment has to ban and censor ideas to the right for a simple reason.

They are losing to the far superior ideas.

They already control academia, entertainment, media, all major corporations who are spouting the same crap and Trump still won.

And once you take the Red Pill, once you leave social justice, once you leave even concepts like civic nationalism without ethnic consciousness - you never go back (with very few exceptions). That is why they have to resort to banning and censorship, because their ideas cannot win against our ideas!

In the end they will have to recreate gulags and make any idea to the right of Zuckerberg punishable by prison or death.

I ordered the book on the depository site a few days ago and they have now provided a refund since "they cannot process my request" . Total BS

This might all be true, but I’m giving you a pragmatic course of action here to make your voices heard en masse.

Such negative comments to a well respected institution like the BBB will not go over well for Amazon at all, and they may re-look at this situation.

Book Depository has also refunded mine as now 'unable to supply'. It was worth a shot.

And my order with Book Depository was also cancelled. Annoying.

I hope Roosh gets another source for printed editions set up soon, but I understand his need for a break. I regret not ordering the book the moment it became available, I was out of the country and wanted to be home when it was delivered.

I have started work on a paperback alternative. To do it right will take time, so have patience.

That’s great news if you are able to get it to work.

In the meantime that book depository website was showing in stock, and then everyone ordered and it changed to out of stock and all the orders were refunded. Now it is showing back in stock again. Maybe someone will get lucky and get a book.

I know that Roosh is already a pseudonym. Have you considered trying another pseudonym? Men who are in the knew will figure it out. It will take a while for the others to figure it out.

Start a new identity and brand? Why should anyone have to do that? They could easily ban that too.

That’s a Band-Aid fix and not addressing the real problem.

Better Business Bureau, customer service issue complaint with Amazon. That’s where it’s at.

OpenBazaar, probably the biggest project for a decentralised marketplace has just released their stand-alone website: https://openbazaar.com/

It's obviously no Amazon, but given the demographic who hold Bitcoin, I think it's fair to say they need to read Game, quickly.

Let's imagine you are driving somewhere and go over a big nail. You are out in the middle of nowhere. Your tire quickly loses air, and you stop the car.

You have an immediate problem. You need to put your spare tire on the car. Then, you can get to a place where they can fix your tire.

Sometimes you have to fix the immediate problem before you fix the underlying problem. Sure, maybe someone will come out and fix your tire on-site. It's unlikely though.

Revolutionaries change their names all the time. It goes with the territory.
