I used to not like Tyler, but he seems a little more charismatic now.

It's all about what people think you can get away with. You have to be a good actor. It's not about being fake, but being present. Look at all the shit Sacha Baron Cohen gets away with because people buy into his schtick. That's good "congruency," and actually, those characters he plays might be a more honest representation of who he is than when he's out of costume.

I think this is why a lot of people get into music or theater- it allows them to be more real in a way. When you get on stage, it's one of the few places where you are allowed (and rewarded) to show your real self, not the one that confined by the rules of society. Of course it takes discipline to do it correctly.

I think game is similar in that you are being very honest about what you want, and there's often a lot of work that goes into enabling yourself.

The problem with RSD, is their stuff is built around a cult of personality. The way they say things in an extremely dogmatic way, practically shouting things at people, but then they go "be your own guru". Almost every guru says they aren't a guru.
