Adding Value in Business vs. Adding Value in Seduction - What Are The Differences?

Many guys on RVF either run their own business, or work in a business field. And many guys on RVF obviously enjoy seducing women.

I find this to be an important topic because I assume there are many guys on here who constantly have to switch back and forth between a business mindset and a seduction mindset.

I spent about 1-2 years of my life obsessing over building profitable online businesses, and while this was a successful period of my life, it was difficult for me to switch into "seduction mode" because of how business-oriented I had become.

These days, I've been focusing much more on game in an attempt to add healthy balance to my lifestyle.

So here we go. I'll try my best to explain the differences between adding value in business vs. adding value in your interactions with women (based on my personal experience).

Adding Value in Business / Entrepreneurship / Online Commerce

- Your #1 priority is to identity a hungry audience, and provide that audience with the best solution possible. You're essentially selling your audience a solution that will genuinely improve their life.

- "Adding value" in business means that you're genuinely trying to help your audience to the best of your ability. You care about your customers, and treat them like trusted friends.

- Good business leaders are generally straightforward, prompt, virtuous, and charismatic. You return calls and text messages in a timely manner, and treat people with respect.

- Good business people think logically and analytically, and have a strategic plan for monopolizing the market. Your goal is to dominate and become the absolute best in your niche.

Let's compare this to how you would add value in your interactions with women.

Adding Value in Game / Seducing Women

- Your #1 priority in the game is to identity hot women who might/will sleep with you, and gradually lead them to your bedroom. The game is incredibly ambiguous, dirty, and thrilling. It doesn't really matter how you seduce women, as long as you eventually get the girl into your bedroom.

- "Adding value" in seduction means that you're giving girls a fantasy that is incredibly hard for them to find. Most girls literally fantasize about meeting a guy who approaches them, puts them through an emotional rollercoaster, and takes them. Good seduction is supposed to be an addictive experience that women obsess over. It's estimated that the "secret society" consists of just 1% of the entire male population. This means that approximately 36 million men (worldwide) are capable of getting numerous women to obsess over them at any given time.

- Good seducers are playful, ambiguous, fun, and adventurous. In seduction, it's more effective to focus on fun and adventure rather than respect or virtue. You can be a complete uncaring asshole who enjoys amazing results with women.

- Good seducers avoid logic like the plague, and connect with women's emotions. Your goal is to take women on an emotional journey, let women experience you, and essentially keep women in an emotional state until she sleeps with you.

Is There Any Overlap Between Business and Seduction?

I realize that many people say that game is useful for business and vise versa. I think there's truth to that. But honestly, I believe that game and business are far too different for there to be very much overlap. This is why I find it difficult to switch back and forth between "business mode" and "seduction mode". In the business world I'm thinking logically, and in the seduction world I'm thinking emotionally/playfully.

What are your thoughts on the differences between adding value in business vs. adding value in seduction?

How do you deal with the constant switching back-and-forth between business and the game?

I think there's a great overlap between business and game. Yes in business it might be better to reply more promptly than in game but both are about providing value. In business it is seen as a value to reply promptly and always be available. Conversely in game it is seen as a value to have other things on the go and not be available/needy. Both may be opposite ends of the spectrum but they are both different ways of showing value for different audiences.

At the end of the day both business and game are about making the sale. I've found that business is more useful for game than vice versa. If you don't make the sale in game, you can go home and jerk off to porn. In business if you don't make the sale, you don't eat. There's no excuses for bad ratios, cock blocks, getting too drunk, etc. You eat what you kill. Developing that mindset in business has great overlap for game.

Tremendous overlap. Many of the concepts are similar. Honing in on your target market, improving your strengths & making your operation more efficient. Making connections with solid, like minded individuals. Like Agrippa said make the sale & close the deal. Having a blueprint for your own brand of success. The list of similar qualities goes on & on.

Are you sure you are selling based on logic? A lot of purchases are made based on emotion, but of course it depends on whether you're selling candy at the supermarket cashier line or a B2B SaaS product.

Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and fuck the prom queen.

That’s a good point. I am primarily selling through emotion, but I’m also doing a lot of research, strategic thinking, and work with analytics. So like you said, your exact business niche will dictate how you spend your time. Guys in direct sales are in “game mode” far more often than a website owner, for example.
