If Canada Legalizes Weed....

I may actually move there, but will certainly visit more.

Being from Colorado, I love the cold and really enjoyed Vancouver. This could be a great reason to check out other towns. My buddy got married to a Canadian (Vancouver) and had some hassle with the dual citizenship thing. He had to live in Bellingham, WA and commute to her He said Bellingham is awesome, but the whole paperwork/red tape thing was frustrating (paying dual country taxes, etc)

I should hit him up for some current details

Hahaha

It will be legal in all of canada as of July 1st, 2018.
Right now they are figuring out how to police it and regulations on who and how it can be sold.

It's gonna be absolute shit. It's already basically legal and easy as hell to get. Every province is now trying to get their grubby hand on it by having it sold at provincially ran stores, (like the LCBO in Ontario, and likely the MLCC in Manitoba). Typical Canada. If they don't make this industry completely open to the private sector and open market, than it's fucking pointless.

Yes, Colorado was the first to legalize. I became completely spoiled, hand picking from the finest strains.

Growing up in Tennessee in the 90's I ordered seeds online from BC which is renowned for their techniques. Basically all the hippies moved to Vancouver in the 60s and honed their craft. Love that place - asians, food, and now weed. Too bad its obscenely expensive. Just have to make more money..

Lower mainland is nice to visit but my friends and i call it "LA north"

All the good and the bad of LA just in canada with snow/rain.
Great food and places to visit, but tons of crime and gangs.

Im really surprised it took this long. The cops don't even care about you having weed on you. As long as you're not being an idiot they'll take it or make you put out the joint.

I was told by someone who works with the police that they just toss it in the trash because it's not worth the paperwork.
