I had stopped using Couchsurfing to hit on girls for a while now since my name was visible and googleable, but I have used it to ask questions about the local scene. Well a Danish girl I met a year ago just left a negative feedback that means I probably can't do that anymore. This is in addition to Estonian guys stalking all my posts in the groups section.

Quote:Quote:

This is the first time I leave a negative reference on CS. Usually I wouldn't be bothered but in this case I want to prepare people, especially
women who meet Roosh in the future.

His purpose of meeting me, I found out, was connected to his book project. Roosh travels to countries and writes books on how to bang (fuck) women in those places. He was awkwardly flirtatious with me and I guess when he found out that I was in a relationship he told me about his pseudo sexual anthropologist project. I nevertheless tried to be curious about it, but he appeared incredibly shallow and simply not a pleasant person to be with. He also criticized a lot the place I took him to, which was an alternative cafe where I am a volunteer. It's fair enough that he doesn't like the place, but his attitude wasn't cool and he was very judgmental about the people being there.

I'm not saying he's a bad person but women should watch out in particular as he has an altereal motive. CS shouldn't be used for this

She forgot to mention that she agreed to come back to my place. I cooked hamburgers for her and this is how the bitch repays me. We hung out for about 4 hours or so, but I'm "awkward" and "judgemental" and "shallow" though! I didn't make a move because there was only a "cultural exchange" vibe.

She's right though I did criticize the place she took me... there was a guy without shoes dressed in a pink dress reading poetry. I made a joke about it but I guess she didn't like that.

Danish girl: "I'm going to take this American guy to watch a cross dressing man read poetry about his feelings."

American man: "Yeah I'm not digging this... where do you think he got that dress from it seems too big."

Danish girl: "You judgemental asshole!! One year later negative revisionist feedback for you!"

Yeah I would make a new account to get rid of that negative comment. Girls will not want to read that when they are looking on your profile. If you do make an account just get a bunch of people to inflate your positive feedbacks with fake accounts or real ones.

LMFAO!!! [Image: lol.gif]

Roosh, you rule!

Nothing makes me laugh harder than to see pissed off women after you use them for sex or social proof, it's hilarious!

What fucking retarded woman thinks a REAL MAN wants to see a guy in a pink, ballet dress recite poetry? That is the most homo shit a hetero man can do! Seriously, what fucking castrated men, if my mother caught me in one of those places, she'd take off her belt or her shoe, or grab the nearest heavy object and start hitting me with it while she yells at me to "man up, you little bitch!" in front of everyone (Not kidding, she would actually do that today!)

So, the irony in that is this: If you would take her to a venue where beautiful women are making out with each other while they lick whip cream off their pussies, and read poetry books, you'd be a wrong right? Fucking hypocrites!

We already do that for each other, and it looks good when OTHER MEN give you positive feedback as not to look like you are there exclusively to get ass from girls.

Roosh-

There is perhaps a way to remove her reference or make her reference "inappropriate" (her words blocked from view) so anybody reading your profile might see that her words (now blocked/invisible) are more questionable than yours.

I put in bold the situations where you could *possibly* appeal to CS Member Disputes.

-Was her reference initially positive but changed it to negative later?

-Did anything in her reference contain "speculation"?
Her last statement might be counted as such---so all your interactions with CS women will have ulterior motives now? You might have a better argument(s) to bring up to CS. If so, go for it.

Sure, she can edit her reference after being notified by CS, but judging from her writing---I doubt she can [Image: evil.gif]

From CS member disputes:
------------
1.Can you take a reference off my profile?
Reference are almost never removed by CouchSurfing. Instead, when CouchSurfing considers a reference inappropriate, it will be temporarily hidden from view pending review. The member who left the reference will have the option to update it to meet CouchSurfing's reference guidelines. Once it meets these guidelines, the updated reference will be redisplayed.
References are considered inappropriate by CouchSurfing if they:

◦Contain an invitation to write for more details:
"If you want the whole story, please send me a private message."

◦Contain a link:
"Click here to see the group discussion I'm angry about."

◦Are false according to information in the CouchSurfing system:
"They were supposed to host me on October 12th, but they never showed up at the meeting place!"  (...but the CouchRequest wasn't sent until November)

Are repeatedly and unnecessarily updated:
Aug 1.  "I'm still mad at Joe for not doing the dishes when he stayed at my place."  Aug 2.  "Joe didn't do the dishes at my place, and I also just remembered -- he was really rude to my landlady."  Aug. 3  "Joe's a slob and a jerk, that's all there is to it."

(ET note: maybe CS will consider her "1 year later" reference as "inappropriate" even with the "and" conjunction. Your flirtations didn't bother her then (if it did happen) to warn other women about your ways, why be bothered now? )

Are initially positive, but changed in retaliation against another negative reference:
Dec. 1. Agnes for Caitlin: "Caitlin is a sweet girl and a great host. She lent me her bike while I was in town, and I had a great time!" Dec. 2. Caitlin for Agnes: "Agnes means well, but she's careless and can be selfish. She borrowed my bike and brought it back in terrible condition -- I had to take it in for repairs." Dec. 3. Agnes for Caitlin: "Caitlin is crazy! She says I wrecked her bike but she's a liar, I didn't even use her stupid bike. But she used all my cell phone credit!"

Are based on speculation:
"Shannon is racist and spoiled.  If she visited my country, she would offend everyone and even be deported."

◦Describe someone else's experience:
"I've known Martin for five years, and I can say there's no way Carla's reference could be true.  What a liar!"

◦Side note: It's OK to mention someone who impacted your experience but is not a member of CouchSurfing.  If that person is a member, you should leave the reference for them directly.
"Diego was nice, but his roommate Sergio made me really uncomfortable."

◦Include profanity, abusive or discriminatory language:
"I swear, Jen is just a typical fat, ignorant American! &*@#!"

◦Contain threats or encourages aggressive behavior:
"If we ever meet up again, trust me, you'll be sorry for kicking my poodle! Everyone who reads this should send her nasty emails."

◦Contain private contact information or describe a private medical condition:
"Rebecca's phone number is 867-5309.  Take that, Rebecca!"

◦Mention a CouchSurfing staff member or volunteer's performance in their role or appropriateness for their role:
"Mauricio lives in my town and we've hung out a couple of times.   He's always late, and I don't think he's very respectful of my opinions.   Then I found out that he's a CS Ambassador!  I have to say, this guy is  not a good example of the CS spirit."

3.In very rare circumstances, a reference will be removed all together by CouchSurfing. Examples include:
◦When the person leaving the reference has clearly never interacted with the other member at all, except by reading their profile "Hi! You seem nice. Come visit my country!"
◦When the reference is only related to a member's work for CouchSurfing "I sent in a question on the Contact Us page, and this guy wrote me back the stupidest response ever. What a loser."
◦When the reference is anonymous (i.e., left from a blank profile that was created only in order to leave the reference)

4.If you've received a reference that you believe is inappropriate in one of the ways explained above, please contact us (when submitting your question, select the category 'Problem with another member' from the drop-down box).

References that are reported as inappropriate are reviewed by CouchSurfing's Member Disputes and Safety Team. This team is trained, objective, and neutral towards all parties involved in the situation. Unless the situation involves data from our system that can clearly prove one version of events, our team is not able to declare information true or false. Instead, it ensures that references are as fair as possible to both members involved. CouchSurfing retains the right to decide whether or not any reference is considered inappropriate.
Please note that you can only report inappropriate references left on your own profile.

Hahahah join the club Roosh

I got two negs, one from a little feminist bitch from New York who got jealous because I pumped and dumped here, she wrote that I was objectifying women

The other from a crazy drunk Japanese girl I was staying with, she came into my room in the middle of the night threatening me with a beer bottle and told me I had to leave. She then wrote a review saying she found a WORM in my room! hehe

Thinking about creating another profile using a variation of my name, the profile might not last long but maybe worth a try

If ET's inappropriate reference scheme above doesn't work you could at least leave her a negative reference in retort, making sure not to say anything inappropriate yourself.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Japanese girls are psycho like that? I would have never guessed.

That must of been a nerve-wrecking experience for you, someone crazy bitch ready to cut me as I sleep? {shivers}

I gave her a negative feedback. I used it as an opportunity to DHV by sharing my Danish TV appearance describing my search for pussy paradise... [Image: smile.gif]

Quote:Quote:

It's sad that she has decided to attack me *one year* after our meeting in a hipster bar. I did not flirt with her, touch her, or do anything improper. Instead I picked her brain about Danish culture for use in my anthropological dating guides, which I was honest about as we got to know each other better. At the end of our meeting I wished her the best in life.

For someone to be so nice to me, and insist on a goodbye hug, but then throw a temper tantrum on CS one year later because she doesn't agree with my recent work (http://bit.ly/xqiot7 ), is vindictive, petty, and spiteful.

Even though she may like you now, if she finds out you wrote or did something that she disagrees with, she will try to tarnish your reputation with false negative feedback. CS is a place where open-minded people can meet and share ideas, not where narrow-minded individuals attack one another just because they hold different opinions. Shame on her for taking this childish and immature road.

Dude. That was brilliant. You just salvaged your CS profile and made her feedback look petty and ill-contrived. Very well-written. I don't even think you need to go and make a new profile now.

Btw, have you been meeting chicks on CS lately in your travels?

Good idea, it's best for meeting girls for a coffee, or if you're visiting some super-expensive city.

Some of these Couchsurfers are really distasteful to me, especially the ultra-cheap ass ones that want to camp in your garden, or when they arrive the first thing they want to do is visit the market or find the bar with the cheapest beer.

These people just want to extend their time in another country by starving themselves, and squatting with people rather than pay 5 euro a night for a hostel.

The worst couchsurfers I ever had were Chinese, they were so ungrateful to be staying at my place it was almost funny. Plus I had to shout them a taxi ride because the four of them were too cheap to pay the $2, they wanted to get the tram

Dispute the neg reference with the CS admins. I think there's a good chance of getting it removed. You never actually did anything to her. References are only supposed to be about your actual experience with that person. Not what that person thinks of your pursuits outside of CS. I've not read any of your bang travel guides, but I'm assuming you're aren't advocating guys to use CS as their way to get laid. So there's no reason why that neg reference is justified.

I asked for my neg to be removed(the one which said I was objectifying women) CS didn't want to know.

The thing is she left the ref 3 or 4 months after she came!, she obviously saw the Japanese ref and decided to get in on the game. I threatened her by telling her if she doesn't remove I will tell her dad(a famous music producer), that she's been cock jockeying all over Europe. She didn't remove, so I did, felt bad about that - oh well.

I hope Im not a shit surfer.
I come to every host or party dressed spiffy and not like a bum backpacker.
I bring bottles of alcohol and have a couple drinks.

but in the end...I kinda do head for the nearest bar or club. and come back late at night.

I try to make sure my host realizes im not trying to spend the whole day with them.
Actually..I find host that seem down to party.
My Denmark host, she got drunk way to early and just gave me her house key. I never brought a girl home, but she actually said she wouldnt have minded if another girl came home with me.

All my reviews or meets have been really good

*that being said. Ive only hosted 1 person..who was actually a friend of a friend.

I used to host and meet with Couchsurfers all the time in SF. My crib was in a prime location and had a spacious living room with a pull-out sofa. I got lots of European flags and requests all the time.

As a guest, I only hooked up with one host, in Brazil. I brought a bottle of Cachaca as a gift and we went through that bottle on the first night and made it happen. It was a nice week.

Excellent come back Roosh, in a manner which all feminists HATE. Outsmarted with logical rhetoric and no mud-slinging. That must sting.

It reminds me of a situation the other day, whilst not as eloquent -

Fat British Girl On Train Slightly Drunk With Friends: Would you like to come out and play with us?

Me: No thanks.

Fat British Girl On Train Slightly Drunk With Friends: Err...ermm well, good.

That Danish girl probably just had her ' Err...ermm well, good' moment.

I'm with G when it comes to travelling in foreign lands, I'd rather go for the hotel/apartment and game as normal.

I'm no stranger to effort, hence why I'm in the game. However couchsurfing overseas seems way too much. Plus when I work my ass off most of the time, I like to travel in style.

Although, I'm intrigued to it bringing more opportunities to my doorstep with minimal effort on my part. Whilst I wouldn't expect dimes to flock to my doorstep, I might be able to play Capture the Flag™.

Do you have to host a million douche dudes in order to bring your profile upto scratch though? And would it be worth it for a good ROI in a place like London say?
