Buenos Aires - worth it for the women?

So recently I found out about a monthly Latin party in my city which I attended tonight, and:

1) I've never seen this many drop dead gorgeous women in one club at one time, period. And I've spent over a decade partying in LA and NYC. Most of these women were Argentinian. HOWEVER:

2) I've also never had such a dismal night out in my entire life - constantly getting blown out and dissed flat out. In cases when the target of approach was receptive, her friends would come in and drag her away.

Also noticed that the only guys that were even allowed to make their case were tall + white, and I'm neither, but that hasn't been nearly as much of a detriment in regular American bars or daygame. I used to think American women can be tough, but compared to what I experienced tonight, they're way friendlier than these Argentinian ladies!

So I did some research, and apparently Arg. women are notoriously difficult to game. Roosh blogged about it here: http://www.rooshv.com/how-to-bang-argentine-girls

That blog post is 7 yrs old so I don't know if it's 100% relevant, but still.

I was considering spending some time in BA, but tonight's experience and the stuff I've read about gaming there are giving me serious pause. Maybe I'll go strictly for the cultural experience and check out the sights etc, but going for women may be setting myself up for disappointment, it seems - bouncing over to Brazil might be a better play.

Anyone been to BA recently as a non-white guy, with insights to share?

I've never been to Argentina but my thing has always been to do things I want to do and go places I want to go. If I do well with the women there then great otherwise I just enjoy the experience. FWIW I've met very few guys white and black who have done well in Argentina. Most guys who go there have a huge price shock when they get there and can't afford to do the things the more well off people do. In addition, there are already white guys with blonde hair blue eyes and strong euro features so the white go factor a lot of guys depend on isn't really there. I remember meeting a guy who opened a chick at a rooftop bar and got blown out once she realized that he was only able to afford the cheapest beer at the bar.

Most guys who reported well had money and focused on making connections with people at events in order to build a social circle. For the couple of black guys I've met who did well they said that social circle really helped because of the strong classism that goes on.

In regards to your experience, where do you live? When I traveled I only met a couple of people from Argentina and they didn't really have the best attitudes. They seemed a bit sheltered and inclusive. It wouldn't surprise me that the women from there wouldn't drop their stereotypes and preconceptions once they get on a plane.

The night scene in Bs As I remember it is for the rich, suckers and rich suckers.
Then again that was 7 years ago so things may have changed.
The women had the very important quality of being extremely "coquetas", even the chubbubs and fatties take great care to their appereance and clothing. I would also say the "Botinera" (gold digger) mentality is quite present, specially in the nightlife scene but I might be biased

@DoctaWho - currently I'm in NYC, where most of the Latin population tends to hail from Puerto Rico/DR. I've seen some cute women in that demographic, but this party last night was filled with white Latinas from mainly Argentina and maybe a few other countries, either way from what I could gather they were from (at least) the middle to upper middle classes. In my day to day in NYC I rarely meet Argentinians and such so I'm assuming most if not all were vacationing here.

I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not some 6'2" chiseled stud, (and also not white), but I do look athletic due to years of a regular workout schedule. I dress well. Still, I was taken aback at the outright rudeness and attitude of the women. I've been to Poland where the women were just as hot if not more so, and never had any such issues - at the very least, the women were receptive to a decent convo, possessed a genuine curiosity about you and it was not that hard to get a phone number (or more :-p )

@El_Gostro - thanks also for the input.

I don't like to plan my travels entirely around the prospect of getting laid, but as a single guy, hooking up with the local women is certainly in some corner of my mind. And for my time and money, if I had to choose, all else being equal I'd pick a place where my odds with the women were better than 0, lol [Image: icon_razz.gif]

Are we talking about backpackers here? I know Argentina isn't the cheapest place in Latin America, but I don't see how anyone from a Western country couldn't even afford a beer.

@enigma agreed. I'm here now and the most expensive beer I've seen at the nicest night clubs is 100 pesos, which is $6.50-7. Not sure if this is an anomoly or not, but the Argentinian girls I've gone out with are more than happy to alternate buying rounds as well.

The girls are definitely harder here then everywhere else in SA. Also way more my type. Weather aside, I'd rather be pursuing my type in EE. But I'll take 27 and sunny, and slightly more difficult women, better food, and a bonus Lollapalooza weekend over EE this time of year.

Is it worth it for the women alone, probably too much trouble. But all things included, definitely not a bad place to spend some time.

It's a weird place that way. Many things there are cheaper than in the United States. Food is cheap. You can go get a pizza for peanuts. You can go get quality steak at a restaurant for a fraction of what you can in most parts of the United States. Drinks at a bar can be far more expensive than in most parts of the United States. Even non alcoholic drinks. I remember one time I went to an all you can eat buffet in Recoleta with high quality steak and some of the best ice cream anywhere. The buffet cost me $5.00. I spent around $30.00 on soda. True story.

Argentina is very cheap, but one of the hardest places I've been to for gaming women. I was last year for a few weeks and had better luck with foreigners than locals. I even saw a guy get screamed at for trying to day game a girl on the street. The girls are definitely hot. They remind me of European girls with nicer/bigger asses.

Go to Buenos Aires for the amazing steak, the comedy shows, the theater and the party.

Women are extremely difficult and require high level game, looks and money. + You really need a local to tell you what´s going on, since party scenes vary widely. One week Puerto Madero is the shit, next week is Palermo, and so forth...

I been in buenos Aires maybe 10 times. I got my Venezuelan flag there as well as an Ecuadorean flag. Never been with a Porteña there. Mending, Rosario, Cordoba or Salta, completely different story.

I will be there this weekend, PM me if you have any doubts.

The harder you practice, the luckier you get.

Yeah, dont come here just for the women. They get soo much game (chamullo) that most of them have the bitch shield high up. I think the best mindset is to visit the city (and country) for the cultural and touristic oportunities, and have the women picking for the side.

Eve if you are not white or/and tall, you can get laid with enough game. A good actitude and beign from the USA is a good plus. The girls you saw in USA are usually richer and bitchier.

I think it depends on what you're looking for in terms of female looks. IMO, there's a lot of eye candy in BsAs and I've probably gotten more eye contact from girls there compared with other places I've been to where everyone is too busy with their own stuff to notice others.

Keep in mind that with a lot of Latin countries you need social circle game to do well, so you'll need to spend a significant amount of time there (1+ months) and find an in with a group. Plenty of my friends have been successful there and like you'd expect elsewhere, the male English teachers are apparently cleaning up...

Something from a newspaper/magazine article a while back. An English journalist was talking to a couple of Argentinian guys in a bar. The journalist told the other two how he envied them, on account of the hot women in their country, and was thinking of going there for a holiday. One of them commented that if the journalist wanted female company in Argentina, he was better off bringing his own.

OP I am a non-white guy with average height and I really had a great time in Buenos Aires, it is truly an amazing city. I recommend it mainly for the cultural experience, it's a mystical city with a lot of things to experience.

For the women, Argentinean girls blew me out hard. I was physically attracted to them but they were not really receptive to my game and I did not really vibe with them. This was going to ruin my entire trip but thankfully, I met a bunch of Brazilian people in my hostel and I ended up hooking up with a beautiful Brazilian girl. I enjoyed with her all the beauty of BA. Female companionship made me appreciate this city a bit more and forget about my thirst a little.

You can try to hook up with Argentinas to get your flag but if you start getting depressed because of the result look for something else. There are plenty of travelers from LATAM, try hanging out with them instead. After experiencing Buenos Aires for a few days, head to Brazil. Brazilian girls are friendlier and more fun in my opinion.

I've been in Argentina since New Years. Day gaming in BA my approach to bang ratio was about 60 to 1. Which gives you an idea of how difficult it is. My level of Spanish is advanced, and I'm white, 6'4 with above average looks. I can't say how the night life is because I didn't spend much time gaming at night. Cordoba, and Mendoza were both more fruitful for me. I vibed better with the girls in those two cities. I just don't have the patience with bitch levels of the girls in BA.

Never been to Argentina but this is EXACTLY what I tell people about women in Spain in general - which is why I also say American girls are WAAAYY friendlier and better in many respects than these stuck up women. I would never go to a place like Argentina or Spain for the women...they are usually 7's at best but think they are 10's and are used to being coddled by the mostly pathetic beta men that make up countries like Spain or, I reckon it must be very similar, Argentina.

Damn, there seems to be a solid consensus abt BA being hard. I'm surprised, though, and it really makes me wonder why...

Anyway, if I do go, I'll just have to adjust my expectations accordingly. Thanks everyone for the input!

In Italy, people who go to Argentina rarely talk about Argentinian women but all they talk about is their steak. I assume, meat and steak are world class there. Anyone experienced? And should be very cheap too, compare to Europe and US.

As far as I have seen, speaking Italian or speaking Spanish with an Italian accent is a big help with Argentine girls. You should check it out.

Almost %30 of Argentina population have Italian descent. When Italian government made it possible for Italian descent people to apply for Italian passport, most applications were from Argentina.

I think i would feel home there.

Italian population worldwide:
1. Italy
2. Brazil
3. Argentina
4. United States
5. Venezuela (I think and it's a very distant fifth)

Playing the Devil's advocate a little: if Argentinian women are so difficult, then how come Argentina has 41 million people?

Anybody who went to East-Europe as well and can compare the quality and easiness of it with Argentina?

What does population have to do with difficulty? India has a billion people. United States has 310 million.

Quality is really good in Argentina and comparable to Eastern Europe, however, high quality women are easier in Eastern Europe then Argentina

Honestly, I think there might be a gap here I m not aware of.
As Mekorig said, we have a "chamullo" (game) culture that is very strong and ingrained, and yes the girls can be quite neurotic but I don't remember Bs As being so hard to pull unknown women in (or befriend complete strangers).

Hell, being an unknowing/uncaring "Pata de lana" (cucker or the guy she cheats with) was fairly common I do remember!

Does this maybe has to do with something cultural? I also don't remember women there being adverse to foreigners, quite the contrary!
