Eh, Pick the largest mix bed dorm you can find. More people you meet the larger your social circle and greater your access. It's great for hooking up with fellow hostel mates though you might have to work a little more to sneak in outside girls. Just wait till everyone's asleep like after 2AM.

I stayed in hostels for the first time about 4 years ago. I couldn't figure out the dynamics of how to properly get laid in a hostel since other people are right there next to you.

So, my first week in a hostel, a Scot gave me some of the best advice I've ever had from anyone. He had hooked up with a girl the night before, and the other people in that room were saying, "Yep, we heard that shit all night between you two."

So I asked him, "You just hooked up with a girl in the room with 6 other people there?"

He said, "Mate, do you want to be polite or do you wanna get laid?"

Generally speaking the lights go off after midnight. So get her in at around 1 AM and tell her everyone's sleeping and we're just going to have to be a bit quiet. Should overcome a lot of resistance.

Or take her to the common showers which are outside. That's what I did.

Not sure what you mean by staying in a single room. I don't change rooms unless I have to.

I target rooms 8-10 beds in size. If the room is too small, there is simply, mathematically too small a chance to have a hot girl. If the rooms are too large, some girls will simply refuse to share a bathroom with 10 other people and the constant flow of people coming in and out all night will be a big problem.
The best thing to do is to avoid hostels with English sounding names and the ones that are the best on hostelworld. These hostels will attract American, British, Australian Girls. You want the Scandanavian, West Europe or Russian/EE girls.

Except, one would need another method, to guess where "Scandinavian, West Europe" girls will go, given that they probably have the money to book the "most expensive, best on hostelworld" hostels. I don't know, I'm kind of reverse-engineering the whole thing.

The best hostel experiences I had came from foreign name sounding hostels near a museum or a museum district. Generally, the women I found there were more from the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France or Russia. When I stayed at well known chains like "the flying pig", it was more US, UK, Australian. I fucking hated those places even though they had much higher standards of quality.

I theorize that many American and British girls go to hostels because they want the youth party scene where as more Western European girls stay at hostels because they simply can't afford it. Yes, the countries may be "rich", but you will be surprised by the high youth unemployment rates. I also think, mainland European girls are just more practical and don't give as much of a shit as to whether or not the hostel has say, air conditioning.

I could be wrong, I stayed at maybe a dozen hostels throughout Europe, but not hundreds. Don't have the experience to provide data beyond a short sample size.

Now some might think "but don't I want a hostel where the women are slutty Americans only looking for a good time"?

It depends.

1) If the girls are from Western Europe, there is at least an 80% chance you will see them naked or at least in their underwear at some point in your stay. They just aren't shy about changing clothes. It won't be during he day with the lights on, but usually after they come back to the hostel drunk at night, there's a quick flash of light as they look for their sleeping clothes and then you will see it. Of course, you should be hoping for a lot more than that, but it's still fun nevertheless

2) In those British hostels there are a shitload of British, Australian USA dudes also looking for a good time. It becomes a contest of looks and game. The ratios of guy/Girl are also usually shittier. The women have a lot of choice. If you are a little older or not the best looking guy or don't feel confident in your game, I'd avoid these places. American women also seem much more likely to be traveling with their boyfriends. They just really don't have the confidence that European women do when it comes to traveling.

3) The quality is just generally higher from Western or Eastern Europe in looks and attitude. However, I have to say that even among the worse places, I rarely find overweight or very unattractive girls staying at hostels, American, European or otherwise.

The only time I came close to banging a girl that was staying in my room (above me to be exact) I got cock blocked by a couple that sprung up out of bed right when I was about to lay the moves. She seemed down and was getting ready for bed in room that we thought was empty.

When I was staying in a hostel for room for a longer term which ended up being a couple weeks, it was a 4 bed dorm with two girls and one other guy and the girls that were already staying in the room came to us and made an agreement that no one would bring anyone back to the room. It was done in a non-cockblocking way, to be honest I was cool with it because then I didn't have to worry about my stuff as much and didn't have to listen to two chicks getting banged out all the time.

Banging out some slut in a full dorm room doesn't really appeal to me, although me banging some chick in a bathroom or the laundry room floor isn't much better.

I meant single rooms as opposed to dorm rooms.

So it looks like dorms arent very good even if you want to bang a girl in the same hostel let alone from outside.

Based on the few experiences of people in this forum and mine, it seems like if the girl is someone you met outside of the hostel and she is into you, chances are she will want to bang in her place because she might have her logistics more in order. Definitely so if she is a local and still more likely if she is staying in another hostel. It might be that she feels safer with her friends around.

Will be interesting to hear if you guys had the same experience.
