Is Ireland a fun place for single men?

I've only been to S.America for my travels as a young man, and of course I love how americans/gringos get the upper advantage of being more valuable to the women there and they just love you.

But what about a place like Ireland for a single guy like me looking to just have fun there, drink, and hook up with women?

Obviously I know the women there cant compare to the latinas of south america

but if anyone has been there what are the women like? nightlife?

From What I've heard when I was in london, guys said that the Quality in Ireland is similar to england, although girls are generally friendlier. But as in England most girls aren't attractive and the ones who are above "7" are used to good looking/sucessful guys putting them on pedestals. So the competition is fierce and the pool of hotties in tiny;so I guess Ireland is not the best place to chase quality unless you have social connections.

As far girls from that region go I think some Irish girls are a bit hotter than your typical English. You see some of those tanned girls, with a nice mix of blondes etc. It isn't crawling with hotties like argentina or nothing, but bitch shield seemed low or non existant but I must admit I was drunk out of my gorde and returning from a prolonged trip to Italy where I got plenty of pussy and I wasn't expecting to see any good pussy there (like england) but I did and it caught me off guard. I was there less than 24 hours.

Irish girls who like you don't seem to play hard to get or put up shit test and things of that like. Actually I must disclose I seemingly got benefits for my looks, or I at least suspect it. But I was being hit on by 2 female bartenders who were trying to engage me into conversations, 1 worker and I almost picked up a lizard by asking for directions to my hotel (most expensive in town) but I was too drunk to realize that she was eye humping me down and probably would have taken my offer to go to my hotel if I did. I was in dublin and would definitely take the opportunity to go back there if i had $$$. None of these girls where stunners or head tunners. But 3 of them were definitely fuck worthy for, 1 outright hot dark skin white or possible white mixed with some type of dark skin asian or hispanic, 1 slightly above average/cute white girl thin blonde and nice smile, and 1 guatamalean with a nice butt bbut average face and nice body.

Dublin and Ireland are like two seperate places but in general Irish girls are not that hot. They are very easy to make out with but harder to bang.

i agree with most of what's been said already
as Pilgrim37 mentioned, the average irish chick is usually not DTF or that easy to get a ONS with, so best is to head for the tourist pubs, bars and clubs - the quality varies though, as we get a lot of american and british tourists, many of whom are even chunkier than the irish - temple bar in dublin is lively and can be a fun place, but you generally have to lower your standards if you want to bury the baldy fella

Is it true that cockblocking in Ireland is a big issue?I mean the guys like to fight, don't know if it gets protective about their local gals

Has anyone managed to find temporary accommodation in Dublin that is reasonably priced?

Can't help you on accommodation, Dublin is a mess in terms of housing now, especially with thousands of students scrambling for accommodation.
I disagree that Dublin is very different from the rest of the country, it's more or less just a bigger version of Cork, Belfast or Limerick. It's more diverse but culturally and with attitudes it's pretty much identical.
Overall Ireland is decent for a western country. The standard of women is poor but casual sex is far more common than in mainland Europe

Sorry, I'm going to have to disagree with this, causal sex, and particularly ONS, can be very hard work in Ireland and like you say, the standard of women is poor, so overall it's usually a total waste of time and effort. Most countries in mainland Europe would be far superior and ironically much easier if you have an Irish accent.

Also, touching on Mr.GM's earlier comment, cockblocking and over aggressive drunk guys is pretty much the norm over here, which makes approaching average looking women with a low chance of getting a bang even more pointless. If I had 1 Euro for everytime I've seen shit kick off between two guys over some chick in a Dublin bar/club then I'd have a very nice bankroll.

Overall being a single guy in Ireland is about as much fun as living on the moon (only with lots of beer!)

The problem with Ireland, from an Englishman with Irish parents who visits very regularly, is that there is so little to do and so few actual people.

I find Ireland incredibly relaxing but also massively boring.

If you are not looking for Irish girls, it might be a good place.

One good thing I see here is if you want to bang higher-end south americans, specially brazilians, Dublin is a good place.

What is funny about IE is that I know some guys they are having top notches in Dublin... but most of the guys complain a lot about here.

Also Brick Top's comments are pretty accurate.

You guys have awesome livers and I wish I did. I don't understand, how Irish men don't travel more. All over the world your accent and reputation can get you laid easily. I don't have your advantage.

You're joking right?

There isn't a place on Earth you won't find an Irishman. They get everywhere.

It's a common joke that there are more Irish people outside of Ireland than in it.

^ Nah I think it is because there aren't as many.

I see a 10 Germans 5 Englishmen 3 Frenchmen 3 Italians for every 1 Irishman I encounter around the U.S. or abroad.

Trust me in the U.S. even in tourist enclaves they are rare and treated like a celebrity because of their accent. Probably twice the affect or more than having an English or Australian accent.

I wouldn't say girls here alone think the accent is sexy, but it intrigues them so much and they ask a million questions that comfort is built instantly.

Yup, it's due to relative numbers, not the proportion overseas at any given time.

There are only 4 million Irish full stop!

Disagree that Irish girls are on par with English. I hit up a rural Southern town on Christmas Eve and the place was swarming with HB8/9's (easily a cut above the comparable English equivalent). Word of warning though, Irish girls are generally less more receptive to ONSs so you'll need some serious social proof to lower bitch shields.

I can assure you there is a shit ton of Brazilians doing exchange programs in Dublin, since it's cheaper compared to the UK. Although I think the girls that go outside is not hot as the one that is still here, no idea why.

Hot girls don't do strenuous things like pack bags and get on airplanes

Jersey Shore towns in the 80's, 90's, and at least a few years after that were packed with Irish college students in the summer. I'm sure quite a few still go there to work in the summer. Other than that, I haven't seen many people from Ireland in the United States.

Bricks comment is spot on, go elsewhere, the women here have all the worst traits, from what Ive heard Ireland is like one big Toronto.

The following although tongue in cheek imo is sadly reflective of what we have to deal with for the most part, bad attitudes, ugly looking and entitled.

Ireland, England, Scotland have the ugliest white women in the world (both physically and mentally). It's odd that they also produced the most dominant society (Anglosphere).

I have been visiting Ireland for few times a year last 5 years as I have family there. It is a beautiful country with very friendly people, but girls.... Well girls are on average the ugliest I have ever seen. You can go a day without seeing a single goodlooking girl. (This is a torture) Then you might spot a lithuanian or polish waitress. The EE immigrants is your best bet if you are looking for something above 6, but their perception of themselves will be distorted by exorbitant attention. So better just go to EE.

In Dublin if you are social enough you can end up at some cool houseparties. People do party and drink a lot and are generally fun.

However I have an observation. In the north I have seen the only few hot Irish chicks. I guess it is the vikings who settled there and left aome pretty blue eyed blond haired genes. But it was 2 girls in 5 years...

My Irish flag has come from Saigon. So maybe there are cute Irish girls only they are out of the country. Or they just get slimmer on asian food.
