I've gotta say, fair fucks to Jesse Hughes.
The pressure on him to change his stance after Bataclan must have been immense but he stuck to his guns.
One good thing that might come of this now is that perhaps some on the liberal side might start to examine gun control more carefully and actually check the facts which show that, like it or not, allowing your citizens to buy guns, prevents so much more gun deaths than outlawing guns.
Bataclan would almost definitely not have happened had those concertgoers been allowed to legally carry a piece on their persons.

Mad respect. I don't even like this band. I think they suck. However, they clearly have nerves of steel to be returning to Paris in defiance! As said the pressure on him to change his views must have been extreme. Most likely from people who weren't there, and won't ever understand what this man and everyone else went through on on the darkest day in recent memory in Europe. So, why on earth should their opinions be considered relevant? I wasn't there, I've never been on the business end of a gun, yet I am still able to make this assessment.

Extreme situations bring out the worst in people, yet sometimes the best too. The simple fact is that, had certain members of the audience been carrying firearms and had the appropriate training, lives could have been saved. How many more will be slaughtered in cold blood before we are allowed to defend ourselves?

I expect the mainstream media to almost completely ignore his statement that armed fans could have stopped the massacre. I don't check Facebook very often, but one of my friends I ended up with somehow is a progressive artist type who lives in Paris. A few weeks after the massacre he posted a video of left-wingers rioting and throwing rocks at the police at a climate change conference in Paris and made a positive comment about it. His other friends chimed in and agreed with him and said how great it was to see Parisians fighting the Man.

I said, "Aren't those the same police that a few weeks ago were risking their lives to try to stop these very same Parisians from being massacred by Islamic terrorists? What a way for Parisians to show their appreciation." Response: silence.

This might not be 100% related to this thread, but it's close enough for me.

I was watching some youtube videos with my daughter(14 years old), the channel we were watching had a video about how the Bataclan attack could have been stopped with legal concealed carry, I pointed it out to her because her tendency towards gun laws is prohibition(she's young, forgive her) and I wanted to challenge her. Her instant response was "No, it could have been stopped by not letting Muslims in", which for a moment caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting it, when it sunk in I realised she was 100% correct. She made me realise that it wasn't a gun control issue, but instead a foreign policy and national issue.

Proof that even a 14 year old girl can figure out what the common sense appropriate solution should have been. Children sometimes have the most unpolluted common sense view about things because they have not yet been completely tainted with political and social indoctrination.

Instead lawmakers in the E.U. are so cucked and the population's worldview so screwed up the popular response is to let in more muslims because if they don't then it breeds more terrorism! This is a wonderful piece of propaganda which originates from islamists and is spread by white liberal sycophants.

It plays on white liberal guilt which they know and exploit daily. It also lets in more of their islamist brethren to wreak havoc on the west. It also allows them to flip the demographics so they can more or less take over entire swathes of the region and elect their own piece of shit politicians like in London.

As a European, gun rights is where I differ from most people here and in the general right wing space. I am OK with having no gun and believe the benefits of strict gun laws outweigh the negatives. If you really want a gun that badly most countries still offer you a way to get them. No concealed carry of course, which to me is a very uncomfortable concept anyway, but that is probably cultural.

Anyway, guns would not solve all these issues in Europe right now. Some Americans on /r/the_donald were suggesting that if only Europeans had guns then they would rise up against their cucked governments. Some pretty bizarre thinking there.

In a perfect world the open sale of guns would be legal and everyone would be a trained and responsible owner but unfortunately that will never be the case. This being an imperfect world, in my opinion the positives still outweigh the negatives as far as gun laws go. Again, if you really want to get a gun, you can get one - which is why we had the statistic with the sudden surge in applications for gun permits that was going around a few months ago.

Let's not pretend putting guns into Europeans' hands will magically solve the migrant issues. Besides, if you make guns easier to get for locals, then they will also be easier to get for everyone else. The left would probably start giving away guns to rapefugees so that they can protect themselves from the Pegida terrorists or something.
