I've been studying hypnosis for several years. It's one of my favorite hobbies and I often do private sessions for friends and family. Since there's an overlap between seduction and hypnosis/nlp, I figured some of you would appreciate this.

Before you dive into the material, you should keep the following in mind:
1. Set an outcome. Your success in any field is directly dependent on how well you set and pursue a goal. Are you looking for more confidence with women? Do you want to become a clinical hypnotist? Whatever it is, make sure your goal is clear.
2. Always think critically. Just because a guru says something doesn't mean it's right. Conversely, don't disregard any method or teacher simply because you don't understand them or because you heard bad things.
3. As an extension of #2: study as many disciplines as possible. If you want to become a clinical hypnotist, you should understand NLP/Ericksonian hypnosis as well as the more traditional methods & inductions. Apply Bruce Lee's philosophy of Jeet Kun Do -- never limit yourself; take what works and disregard what doesn't.
4. Listen carefully.
5. Practice. This is obvious -- you cannot progress unless you practice. Don't sit around and watch the videos/read the books. If you're serious about this stuff, you'll go out and do it. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time.
Change Your Life
The Sphinx of Imagination by Hypnotica
The first thing you should listen to. This is a powerful hypnosis track that will help you make some key shifts in your inner game. It's $20 and totally worth it.
If you're interested in becoming a hypnotist, listen to this again and dissect it.
Personal Ecology for Men by Major Mark Cunningham
Like Hypnotica, everything Major Mark produces is high quality. Personal Ecology for Men is probably my favorite tape and I've used it several times.
Become a Hypnotist
Mark Cunningham
I've watched most of Mark's lectures for hypnotists. He covers basically everything you need to know in beginning and advanced levels. If you need a place to start as an up-and-coming hypnotist, start here.
Gerald Klein
Gerald Klein's Basic to Advance course is great for beginners and is a solid supplement to Mark's lectures.
Ross Jeffires / Speed Seduction
Whether you like him or hate him, Ross Jeffries is generally credited as being the founder of speed seduction and (to some extent) the entire pickup community. His SS 3.0 course is pretty solid and has some nice insight into combining hypnosis with game.
NLP, Persuasion and Storytelling
Hypnotic Techniques of Milton Erickson
Milton Erickson changed the world of hypnosis forever. He was incredibly influential in the development of NLP and realized that you can influence people just by talking to them. This book is a great introduction to Ericksonian hypnosis.
Frogs Into Princes
Using Your Brain for a Change
Magic Action
All of Richard Bandler's work is excellent. His book "Frogs Into Princes" is probably the most essential text on NLP and will give you a nice overview as you delve into the work. All three of these are great, though. Also look into some of his courses and tapes.
101 Healing Stories
Stories for the Third Ear
These two books are wonderful resources on Ericksonian hypnosis and applying metaphors/storytelling to your technique.
Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion
This book is geared more towards business and advertising, but most of the principles either come from or apply directly to hypnosis/nlp.

I hope this post inspires some of you guys to pursue hypnosis, even just as a hobby. If anyone has any questions or wants to learn more -- feel free to post here or shoot me a PM.
