DC Comics to use "positive discrimination" when hiring new creators

Here's a SJW warrior take I read in the replies to some article. First, I doubt he could tell me in what way it is "deconstructionist". Second, almost none of Batman's rouges are "criminalized poor", some are mentally ill and Bruce pays for their therapy. He also creates jobs and funds schools and hospitals.

It’s definitely a deconstructionist take on Superman, and I’m fine with it as long as the upcoming sequel addresses the fact that Batman is a right wing fantasy about inheriting a fortune and using it to stage high tech assaults on the mentally ill and the criminalized poor. Instead of, I don’t know, creating jobs, funding the schools and hospitals, and lobbying Congress for more support to help the city’s people.

Man, unreal. A Pakistani muslim woman superhero? Where's her burkha?

I think I've had enough thanks. Have not been reading the comics much but no more Marvel entertainment movies for this guy...they were kind of starting to suck anyway.

Marvel can't put too much SJW shit in their movies, that shit won't sell abroad. Also it will fuck up their merchandising if they keep on changing the race of the character.

If Marvel tried to make a superhero movie about a disabled mixed race obese gay Marxist Muslim trans dwarf, it might break Swedish box office records, but it couldn't be shown in China. China has a bigger box office, and at the end of the day money talks.

I would totally watch the hell out of a movie about a midget Lucha Libre wrestler with superpowers.

Wow that sounds like riveting page turning stuff right there. It's almost like cultural leftists can't ever let stuff be fun for the sake of being fun and must always subvert everything to promoting their ideology.

Not to mention that beside missing the entire point of Batman, that's simply incorrect...Bruce Wayne DOES create jobs, fund charities, etc.

I think we really need to focus on things like comics and toys. I say this, because while it is easy to say, "whatever, I haven't read comics in years" or something similar, the truth is that all this shit is happening because of progressive parenting and teaching in the late 70s and 80s. Feminists had children and then went crazy making sure that their kids got gender-opposite toys and experiences. I can guarantee that feminists and SJWs pushing this shit probably never played with a Barbie doll, or if male then action figure or other boy-related toys, and that is why they go so hard in these different fandoms. It may seem silly, I used to think it was, to be so concerned about what toys and things kids played with because who really cares...right? Now, I am thinking that it probably does make a much deeper impact in the long term than we may realize.

Pretty much all the areas that feminist SJWs are pushing into were areas that were male driven in youth but probably had substantial female participation at younger ages due to feminist parenting. It is well known that as adults age and gain money, they tend to want to relive parts of their youth. You see this everywhere, whether it is supposed "man-children" spending huge amounts on toys and hobbies from their childhood or father becoming little league coaches.

Unfortunately, I don't know what exactly we can do to combat the messaging.

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

I bet this will usher in a new golden age of the graphic novel.

I think we over estimate the number of SJWs, they are a small minority. Any normal person with half a brain cell will always buy boys toy guns and cars, and get girls dolls. Girls have to be raised to nurture and how to cook. Boys need to learn how to build and destroy things.

I have 2 nieces aged 6 and 10 and they were in the kitchen helping out their mum and gradmum from the age of 3. Women who can’t cook are useless for LTR.
