Hat Game for Bald Guys or Guys with Bad Hair

This post has me really thinking. Just the other night (as mentioned above in my prior post) this chick had a clump of her hair extension fall on the floor. All I do is wear a fucking beanie, which I do take off. That's it - nothing else. These bitches have boob jobs, botox, push up bras, caked on make-up, liposuction, high heels and God knows what else. It's all a big con to attract a dude. With guys, what you're seeing is generally the real thing.

Let's face it, I've had the shit scared out of me the next morning when I saw them more natural. Like I'm sure most of you have had as well. I look pretty much the same when I wake up. Little more stubble is all. So if I wear a hat fuck it. I've never had anyone try and grab my beanie off at the club. Must be my vibe. I've had girls ask: "do you have hair" and I answer "yes" because I do. It's just not a lot.

I've also never had where a girl felt tricked when I took it off back at my/her place. In fact, I've had it where I put it back on and they take it off. That must mean they liked it better that way. I do agree with a prior post if you have a good looking face you will still look good bald. Fortunately, I believe I do have a good looking face. The beanie just does a great job of "framing" your face and making it more prominent and a focal point. That's why I like it. I know this shit is all in my head.

Decided to sack up and shave my head down to the wood this evening for the first time. I had been cutting it down with clippers, but I was sick of seeing a faint horseshoe when I looked in the mirror. I was really apprehensive about messing it up on a work night, but it went off without a hitch.

What a cool feeling and look. So easy to do. Now I just have to keep up with the weights and I'm good to go.

Haha, why did I only see this thread right now?

Yes, I do hat game until I get to the point of being sexually intimate with a girl. Why? Because from my experience, it's usually been the girls who are into hip-hop or Buddhist chicks who are into me (initially). Luckily there are a lot of hot ass girls who are into hip hop or Buddhism.

Now with that being said, my last two gfs aren't usually attracted to bald guys but in both those situations, I had already either gotten sexual or kissed them before I took off my hat. And when I did it, I wasn't EMBARASSED ABOUT IT, rather it was more of a natural, oh yeah, I'm taking off my hat now because I feel like it as opposed to hiding it. I agree you must never be insecure about it (or if you are, play it off like you're NOT insecure about it) but there's also nothing wrong with wearing a stylish hat.

My strategy with hat game is you need to be a fast escalator. Don't be fucking waiting for 5 dates before getting physical, get physical asap because in theory, if you waited 5 dates, it doesn't make sense of why you'd always be wearing a hat. But first/second meeting, it's okay. So get physical in first two meetups. If they're not down to get sexual or at minimum, kiss you, it's not your baldness that's the problem, it's your game.

Oh yeah, I recommend shaving as well in the event that you have to take off your hat.

Good luck guys

I've mostly been choosing a 2-4 mm buzz cut (same length for hair and beard) the last several years but I bought a proper electric shaver a week ago for the first time in years, and having head and face completely clean shaven is definitely the best look for me at my current close to 40 age.
I'm very hesitant to say it cuts x number of years of my look (I still default to thinking it's bullshit - from them or their complimenters - when people claim they look 10-15 years younger than their age), but it's definitely more appealing in the mirror than the scruffier look I've been sporting for years (and which is very common where I live now).

I was already getting IOIs on the street on a fairly satisfying basis so it's too early for me to say if my cleaner look is also making me more appealing to women, but even if it's a wash I feel better about it.

Beanie game is legit. Since adding a beanie picture to my OkCupid profile I've noticed a threefold increase in the amount of the usual fat ugly girls who match with me.

I can only speak to my own experience. I lost most of my hair in my early 20's. Without a doubt, girls have rejected me or been under the attraction threshold on account of it. However I've never once had a girl tell me "sorry I'm just not into bald guys." I gravitate to girls who are into me, so those who aren't are kind of transparent.

I would guess that for 2/3rds of women it's either a dealbreaker or a negative attraction-wise. The other 1/3rd seem to be all the more into it - you can pick any number of actors who have that look and are considered hot by girls.

The issue with being bald is you are stuck with your skull's natural shape. Now if you have a skull like Jason Statham then there's no issue. I know someone with his exact headshape, has the entire male patter baldness thing going full on and he's considered a very good look guy and has no issues with women. Now if you have an oddly shaped skull it's going to hurt your appearance no matter what unless where talking about a girl with a bald fetish which is going to be rare. Google a picture of Ryan Gosling with a tight buzz vs his appearance now. It's such a vast difference

Thats the brilliance of hair, you're able to style it in order to frame your face proper. This is why beanies can do wonders since its filling in for the skull to frame your face.

Same thing goes for beards. If you don't have a strong jaw like some abercrombie model your going to look better with a beard of some type. Obviously not every guy grow a beard that well but you get the point.

The point is you don't want to listen to the dumbness that say it doesn't make a difference. It's important to realize what it is and isn't and to maximize the deck of cards you are dealt in life. Things like adding facial hair, or hats, or muscle for a different look....whatever. You don't want it to be a hangup but you should also not be oblvious to things as well.

I'm in my late 20's but looked much older before yesterday. Now, I easily look my age. I think one of the neatest things is the guy in the mirror looks unfamiliar, as I was used to seeing the Frontenac with the balding head for about 8 years now.

Unless you are currently on a MBL roster, NO man should EVER wear a baseball cap. Same thing goes for jerseys with another mans name on it. A nice fedora will also make you look taller as bald and short often go hand in hand. Own the bald head, women walk up to me and want to rub my head "cause its so shiny and smooth" I always escalate with "alright now its my turn" and pretend like im putting my hand down her drawers, never fails to physically escalate and get a good giggle.

Anybody considering a hair system?

Have a look at this page for DIY hair replacement pieces to see some of the results people have achieved all by themselves without any reliance on hair clubs or overly expensive salons.

Northwest Lace

I've done a shit ton of research on this These "systems" are basically real human hair stitched into a fine lace which you stick on your head with special glue or tape . The lace blends into your scalp skin and is completely undetectable. Guys have successfully kept it a secret from their LTR's for year, even if they run their fingers through your hair they won't feel a thing. The piece doesn't fall off your head like the toupees in movies. People wear their pieces while skiing and even deep see diving. You can even customize your own piece to any colour, length, density, curl, wave etc and even the shape of the hairline. The lace is fine enough to let your scalp breathe, you don't feel like you have anything on your head. Maintaining a piece is pretty easy and won't take more than an hour a week.

I've ordered a custom piece from them and it should arrive in a few weeks. I will let you all know how it works out for me.

What is the forum's opinion on this?

I've been rocking a bald head for about 2 years now and the Lizards don't seem to really care. I think it gives me a more "intense" look, especially if I grow out a bit of stubble. hats are a no-go because women are going to think you're lying about your baldness. I only wear a cap/hat if It's very hot/cold outside and I want to protect my bare scalp.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

wow, suddenly everybody is kncoking hat game. lemme ask you guys who DONT like it. do you guys do cold approach daytime pickup? if not, please give specifics of how from beginning a-z meeting a chick to fucking her? and are they good looking? and ehat are they into?

i totally agree with you guys that it should not be used as a crutch and its your inner core of being s man that should shine through whatever scenario. but once someone has come to peace with that, its sales. if you wanna get really deep about it, any guy on this earth could make any girl on this earth fsll in love with them if the situation was right, if they opened up about who they really were, dreams, problems, fears, and connected emotionally, spiritually and physically. BUT to get to that point requires skill and luck. the same girl who might be into you, mightbe having a stressful busy day, thinking about work, school, her dress, or some other dumb shit, and all her exbfs have been model dudes or whatever, and her only affiliaation of bald dudes might be Tupac, Buddha or Jason Statham (who she might love or hate). Now if SHE KNEW WHO YOU WERE AND WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE, she might fall for you but for right now, you are just a stranger. so to me, hat game is equivalent to putting on nice clothes, taking a shower, its just to get past STRANGER MODE to the next sales stage where you can connect. at least in my experience of over a few hundred approaches, using HARD DATA, NOT THEORY, ive had better responses with a hat vs no hat. ive met one exgf with no hat and last two exgfs with a hat. so at least in my situation, its not a crutch, its like wearing a nice shirt. if you wanna knock hat game, why dont you try and pick up girls wearing pajamas and slippers? i have so i really dont give a fuck but im past that point of approach anxiety. im at that point where when i hunt, i go out to fuck.

Goorin Brothers has some nice hats. I have a couple and they are great.

If you're bald, you really do need a hat to protect yourself from the cold and the sun. It's not a vanity issue, it's a health issue, but might as well look good while you're at it.

I use a hat when outside in freezing weather in the winter - but that's the type specifically designed to be pulled all the way down over the ears and paired with a thick jacket and gloves so I don't freeze my ass off. It comes off the second I set foot inside. If it's merely chilly my head feels warm enough.

As far as sun burns on the head goes, I had the first one a few days ago (trip to the coast and not much time in the shade) in as long as I can remember, and I've been balding for almost 15 years, and frequently shaving my head several years before that started.
But I do take care and use sun lotion (usually factor 30) when I'm out in the sun for extended periods of time, and also occasionally wear a cap if I'm out on long hiking trips in open terrain.

Maybe wearing a wig could work really well for one night stands if you get a really good one and figure out a way to make sure it doesn't fall off. Next time you see her you can show up with a shaved head, or be balding without the wig and be like "my hair fell out since we hung out last week" haha

This is a route I'm considering. Going bald is ok if your head is of a decent shape, but it also accentuates large ears (my issue).

There's an outfit in London who create men's wigs (from real hair), and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. They showed you clips of guys swimming, and getting involved in sports, whilst wearing these pieces. It's also way cheaper than a transplant. But you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.

Also, for large ears, try looking into temporary solutions like OttoStick.

I have been balding for 22 years, since I was 18. (So I consider myself an expert on this field. [Image: smile.gif] ) I've taken meds for 15 years (mainly finasteride + minoxidil), which have slowed down the process without major side-effects. My hairline has receded pretty far but I'm still hanging in there and refusing to give up and shave... Well, I do shave on the sides and back very short and leave the top a bit longer. I also bleach my hair. I thicken the hair with MSM, glue-type hairgel and Toppik. The result is far from beautiful, but acceptable and suits me probably better than totally shaven head.

I experimented with partial (frontal) custom hairpieces 10 years ago for a couple of years. I had 4 long term girlfriends at the time and they didn't have a clue... I'm not sure whether the hairpiece helped with women in general but I don't think it hurt. In the end it was too much of a hassle to use it so I quit.

I often wear a trendy baseball cap when outdoors, and on nice summer days I prefer a straw cowboy hat... Not many men wear them here in my country, so it grabs attention, which is a good thing of course. Usually on a night out several women (and men) compliment my hat, and I feel that it has helped my game.

bald guy, i never wear hats for aesthetic reasons, on the basis that you are just delaying 'the reveal'. Nothing worse than that moment you remove your hat and see the girl's eyes quickly look up, scanning your hairline lol. Seriously though, i give pretty much zero fucks about being bald, if it happens to you, then just accept that you got a shitty roll of the genetic dice in the hair department, and shave it off. Been number 1 cut for over a decade now, yeah baldness has no doubt reduced my aesthetics to an extent, but as long as you don't let it play on your mind then it's no big deal. The worst thing you can do is look like you give a fuck about it, frankly.

Never go hat game. My brother is bald, and the hat is an immediate sign of weakness. Show you cards from the start and it won't have any negative impact what so ever.

Honestly, I've never cared. The most bad ass guy I ever knew was my 5'3 bald and jacked uncle. He was a bald minority which, according to some sources, would be a sexual death sentence, but he had tattoos, partied hard and did what he wanted.

There are eye witness accounts of girls fighting over him at clubs and at bars. This is a bald, 5'3 dude, mind you.

This whole "OMG What can I do about baldness" thing makes me chuckle just because there are bald guys out there killing it.

I could rattle off a list of forum members who are bald and pulling just as much as the next guy.

I was at the club this saturday and a guy got butthurt about his girl coming over to me and pretty much flirting with me right in front of him. I'm bald and I don't even talk about it.

I won't lie, being brown-skinned gives me a huge leg up when it comes to being bald, but I legitimately give 0 fucks about my baldness. I started going bald at 24 and just shaved that shit off after this jacked, bald guy on the street straight up said to me in a totally unsolicited, "dude, your hair is gone. Just get rid of it. It doesn't matter."

Don't let your hair (or lack thereof) influence how you feel about yourself.

Shave your head, Get a tan, hit the gym and don't worry about it.

I didn't want that to come across as mean, but guys need to let their hair go if it's falling out.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

As far as Hat game actually goes, I do think that Jeremy Piven beanie style works for some guys, because everyone can see that you're bald but it's a cool hat.

I have seen a forum member or two rock that look with success.

I wouldn't say I practice 'hat game' but I wear them quite often but there are some variables at play here guys. Basically for me if your balding is not too advanced rocking hats is not a problem in my experience. Because if there is any kind of 'reveal' it's not going to look like your hiding anything major.

Conversely if I was slick bald I wouldn't attempt it. I'm caught in that intermediate stage where on a good day you probably wouldn't notice I'm balding but my hair is not in good enough shape where I can style it my whim. Regardless most clubs in Sydney won't let you in wearing any kind of head wear anyway.

To the American members photos I see online from various clubs I'll scan the picture and you can see guys rocking head wear...the dress codes more lax there?

Lastly it fits my style yeah I know it's Bieber but just illustrating a point. Personally wearing damaged denim with v-necks and scoop necks T's lately and the reception has been good as my physique has been improving.
