They're pretty hot. they do this miss reef in viña del mar, chile too.
Although i don't think that mar del plata is worth a visit, because chicks from argentina are really hard. I'd recommend some other beaches in uruguay.

The best Miss Reef is in Florianopolis, Brasil. Saw pics of them and they are unreal. High on my list to do/roll next year.

I was joking, and yes those are Argies - on vacation, in Mar del Plata now.

Byzzy---as for recommending Uruguay beaches...you're going to find more of the same there...Argies on vacation except that it's a more "chic" destination than MDP. MDP is more of a "middle class" Arg. spot.

in this type of contests (at least in reef chile), it's something like 50% of chileans chicks and the other 50% belongs to chicks from other countries, mainly argentina and brazil. I guess it's pretty much the same there.

eh... MDP is 99% Argies on vacation.
The beach sucks relatively.. No brazilians or chileans are gonna want to go there

Not really. Outside of Montevideo, pretty much the way it is.

I moved to Argentina a couple years ago ... Waste Of My Time! These Argie girls are schmookin models, but are not worth the headaches and time it takes to bang them and deal with them. That is my personal experience, so maybe others had it different.

Just like Vacancier mentioned Florianopolis, I'd rather go to Floripa any day of the year, than go to Mar Del Plata on its best day of the year.

Why work your butt off gaming Argie's, when you can go to Brazil and bang the same quality at 5% of the difficulty level. [Image: banana.gif]

Are you claiming this for a person with equal skills in Portuguese and Spanish?

What about sub-par Portuguese, and good Spainsh?

Same comparison?

I really don't understand the fuss about argie girls, sure there are some nice and hot ones like everywhere, but I wasn't wowed nor was I having a headache for looking every 2 seconds in a different direction as I was in Curitiba or Brasilia or even Rio. While I did LOVE the city of Buenos Aires, I couldn't wait to return to Brasil fast enough for the more friendly, fun and overall sexier Brasileiras. As I keep saying all the time, get a hot, friendly and fun Brasileira in Brasil and go with her to BA, then you'll have a blast. But don't go to BA for the girlst here, they are bland, nothing special.

Gotcha.

Would you say the same thing for someone with sub-par Portuguese?

Hard to say, but as a golden rule, the more Portuguese you speak, the better it'll be. So before you head down to Brasil, invest 2 hours a day into learning Brazilian Portuguese. Get a copy of the Pimsleur Brazilian Portuguese and listen to those lessons. They helped me tremendously when I started learning the lingo back in 2003-04. Start listening to Brasilian music, which is the best in the world. Start making contacts on Orkut, the Brasilian FB and establish a social circle before you go. In Brasil, status is EVERYTHING, so that part is huge. Once you're there, it'll be easy as pie for a cat like you.

However, one big warning, keep a low profile there. Don't flash too much wealth, keep it low on the custom suits there, specially on a day to day thing where you need to dress like the locals. Only when you go out to posh clubs or in private parties with people of the upper middle class, you would want to put on a nice suit, but again, nothing extravagant. Brasil is one of those places I advise visitors to keep a low profile. Nice jeans with nice t-shirts or at night, dress pants and a nice dress shirt. For the posh lounges, put on a nice suit, but keep your custom made ones and designer watches and the like for only when you know for sure that the people attending will be of the same calibre and trust you me, Brasil has mad mad rich people. Keep that in mind and you'll have the time of your life in Brasil.

Yes...that was the case with me. I lived in Cordoba and am fluent in Spanish (it's getting rusty living back here in the US). I also hired a Portuguese teacher while living in AR, so I would at least have SOME knowledge when going to Brazil. So yes, I'd say my level was sub-sub-par Portuguese.

I actually banged about the same amount of Brazilians as Argies, yet spent SIX times longer living in Argentina. But maybe thats just me...i'm Irish-Italian (and can be mistaken for an Argie), so that could have faired better for me getting the exotic value in Brazil.

I can't speak for someone with equal skills in Portuguese and Spanish, but if a gringo went to Brazil with fluency in Portuguese vs. a gringo going to Argentina with fluency in Spanish ... I'd put my money on the 1st gringo getting way more notches while there.
