So I got my first money request by a girl on DIA

I've been chatting for fun with girls on DIA to kill time and just now, I just got the first girl that straight up after a couple minutes into the chat asked me to send her money for a web cam. She said it's only 1200 pesos (25$). The fact that she knows the exact exchange rate is a big red flag and shows that she's been around and is obviously a hooker. She's very insistant too.

Of course, I ain't sending her shit. Just posting this to warn you guys. Here's her profile, she's from Zamboanga.

Avoid her like the plague and never ever send any money to any girl.
I'll spread the words to other relevant sites as well.

I dont think there is a need for you to expose her like that, iam sure she is not the first woman on the internet asking men for money. Simply ignore her and move on, no need to expose her to different websites, let her do her own hustle.

Asking money for webcam session is also very common on Latin American and Colombian cupid.

What amazes me is not that these girls do it, but that there are sorry idiots out there who actually comply with their request. Otherwise they'd stop asking for money.

For clarification, she wasn't asking for a webcam session. She was asking for me to send her the 1200 Philippines Pesos (25 bucks) so that she can buy a web cam for her computer at home. I played along with her a few minutes telling her that I'd rather bring her one in person next time I return to the Phils. She kept insisting that it's better she buys it. LOL
After that I just stopped replying to her and she got the message and moved on.

After thinking about it, I am quite tempted to play along and see how far she will go. I'll make her believe I'll send her money and tell her I sent it via western union and provide her with a fake # and all. Anyone done that before? I know it is not nice to lead on someone like that, but it'll teach her a good lesson. LOL

Why waste time? Seriously, you must be really bored!

Anytime a girl I have never met asks me for a single dollar, I respond "What? you're broke? I'm not used to dating women who are penny-less or cheap"....

There's hundreds of these, and without getting too big for my VRoosh forum boots, I'd expect at least all younger guys to know not to trust this sort of thing. It's called e-shoring and kids make a fortune from selling pics and cams, which, most of the time are just loops.

That might even be a dude you are talking to pretending to be a girl. Money is scarce in the Philippines and they will do anything to get some.

I met a girl online and later met her in real life in her country and she knows I have serious cash. That was a big mistake letting her find that out. She is always dropping hints for cash... "I need $150 and my parents don't have the money", "we don't have money for food" or "I need $200 or I can't continue to go to college." When she does have money she blows it on stupid things like DVDs and useless crap. It is freaking annoying and I will never give her anything.

DIA has a reporting tool which allows you to let the website know that a chick asked for money.

Use it. She will receive a short ban.

Not sure if this my luck or what but last night, had another one hit me up straight away with a plea for $75 to pay her rent. Her pictures were very tantalizing tough. I told her off and she wasn't pleased. Lumiere you're right and I should excercise that option towards these scammers.

Teach her a lesson?? Yes, you do that. I'm sure she'll never do it again.

Unless you're pipelining for a trip that is coming up soon why are you even spending time on the site VP? Seems like a waste of time and effort especially if they asking for cash and you've got no good reason to be chatting to them anyway.

I banged a nice fillipina from DIA that was a genuine girl, not a pro and even paid for my meal the night we met (same night lay)

However, all the crap that I had to wade through to find a decent girl like convinced me that DIA is just not worth the effort

I haven't used DIA yet but been using OKCupid and POF to chat up Thai girls in preperation for my trip there in 2 weeks and haven't had any bullshit or women asking for money yet, plenty of cute girls too. Guess I'll have to wait and see what they are like in person before I can judge if it was worth it though.
