I'm curious if others will admit to having/had stds, and how they live their sex life in accordance.

Me, I've had molluscum and I've had warts (hpv). Ive never got the easy stds..chlymadia, ghonnerea, etc. Even herpes goes away in a few days with Valtrex ive heard. I've had the ones that have no cure and no easy, medically proven means of suppression.

And I've always worn a condom and have always been safe. Just got fucked for no real reason in this case.

For molluscum, I avoided sex, and recently started having more sex. It was on pubic hair area, and I put a light coating of Talc on area to hopefully prevent spread if there's anything else there.

I had warts on my fingers and my dumbass dermatologist at the time never told me I could spread it to my dick if I masturbated. Lo and behold, they got on my dick too. Most traumatic experience to see things growing on your dick and there's no cure.

I got lucky with a product on a website and my warts all went away4 years ago. 2 years ago I had a recurrence in exact same places, and that company was out of business. So I scrambled the Internet spending hundreds on products til I found something that works again.

At that time I still had sex w my gf (were broken up now) with a condom, and she knew about it.

Right now, I may be getting recurrence of warts on fingers or just crazy cuticles from winter. Either way, this shit scarred me for life and I'm still trying to move past it. My dick looks clean..maybe 1-2 pin sized bumps that could be anything.

This is the first time Ive seen HPV mentioned on this forum. And rightly so HPV is one of the only stds I actually DO worry about next to herpes; incurable and easily transferred. Because I know the numbers, Aids doesnt scare me; and syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia are all curable.

Y'know, the people that seem so very eager talking about STDs are in my experience the ones that are getting none. It's another type of guilty/control mechanism for them.

I doubt you'll find people more aware of the dangers with STDs than on a board like this. It's not that we practice safe sex 100% of the time but there's nothing to add to our knowledge on the subject. If we decide to slip in the big one unprotected it's not due to ignorance but simple cravings for moist relief.

1. STDS , (especially hpv) have been discussed 5 ways from Sunday on this forum. You probably didn't notice a search function on the forum either.
2. You state that HPV is one of the only STDS you worry about next to herpes, yet, AIDS , doesn't scare you because you know the numbers?????? Are you out of your head? If you were a male, HPV, would be one of the least of your concerns, but as a woman, you surely would be very concerned about hpv, since of course this could affect reproduction, and not to mention, the various forms of cancer women tend to develop from a diseased pussy. Explain how genital warts is the least of my concerns. If I bareback a chick with AIDs I have less than 1% chance of getting HIV assuming i dont have any open wounds. HPV and herpes are skin on skin contact. If you know any better numbers than this please tell me.
