Info on Pensacola/Fort Walton Beach?

Headed to Florida for work for about a month next week, anyone have any good info about the Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach areas? My colleague is there already and says tons of Asians (my preference) but doesn't know a whole lot else.

I have not been to Pensacola and Fort Walton for ages, so I do not have any current information. I lived there for a year and It was a really fun place. The women were very nice and easy going. There is a large naval base in Pensacola. Many people travel to Fort Walton to vacation at the white sand beaches in Destin.

I used to live in Pensacola when attending flight school on the Navy base, but that was back around 2000. I have not been back since, but I doubt the place has changed much.

The hot place to go was Flora-Bama, right on the state line between AL and FL. Yes, it is on the beach. There was a lot of ass to chase out back too, damn. Girls playing volleyball in the summer. Add beer into the mix, and you have a sweet situation, especially on weekends!! Too bad you're going when it is still cold. It may be FL, but this is not Miami weather. It's still rather cold in March.

You may have better luck going to Seville Quarter, which is the nightlife area in downtown Pensacola. Be aware though, Navy OTS guys may be out en force, in their uniforms! But don't worry too much about them, because they'll be looking like tools dancing in navy whites. It will make you look better in comparison.

The bar I remember best in Seville Quarter was Rosie O'Grady's. Also nice was McGuire's Pub. Tip: Many of the Pensacola girls dig pilots, so get the buzz cut, dress preppy, and talk like you're going to flight school there, and that may help. Best of luck!

Haha Seville Quarter is like the one place I've been on a one night trip to Pensacola. It was some kinda 18+ "kids and squids" night and it was seriously a sea of dudes as far as the eye could see.

Yeah I'm military as well so I look just about as doofy as every one else (maybe a little less cuz I'm Air Force haha).
