Hi i just bought a netbook and want to encrypt when i enter in sensitive data when using public wifi hotspots in riskier countries, like in Latin America/ EE/ SE Asia. Is it best to encrypt all the time, or will it slow down may sessions too much? I found internet surfing to be really slow in some countries. Is there a way just to encrypt when i enter in sensitive data and what kind of risks am i taking if i don't encrypt all the time? Thanks!!
