A year of game

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around this forum for a while now. It was really helpful for me when I was in college. I could use some advice on my situation now. I graduated this past May and decided to take a year off before I go to graduate school. Basically, I goofed around the entire summer before starting to study for the GRE and LSAT. Now that I'm done with that and my next step is secure, I have a lot of time to develop my skills and work on improving myself.

The number one thing that I want to do is get better with women. I will have a decent amount of money to travel and do anything I want (from tutoring, which by the way, is a great way to earn cash quickly). However, I am stuck in the the middle of nowhere in the northeast living with my parents about an hour away from new york city and any other major cities, and everyone I know is busy in school or with work. So it's going to take a lot of work to get things going without any support from friends, but I'm ready for it.

My question to you guys is this. If you were in my position and had a year off, what kinds of things would you pursue? Where would you travel? What kinds of skills would you try to develop besides game (I'm thinking of learning salsa dancing, guitar, etc)? For the first time since I was a teenager when I was too ignorant anyway, I have an opportunity to change myself completely. Basically, I would appreciate any kind of help in determining what my strategy should be from now until September.

Thanks guys.

If you want to get better with women, the best way is to develop your skills on foreign girls. When you can pickup girls without speaking the local language, you'll notice a huge shift in your game. Travel is an amazing experience that will shape you.

Work on developing skills that can help you professionally. Learn foreign languages, network constantly and always be thinking one step ahead. You should start preparing the foundation for your future career path as well.

Dance is an awesome skill, also. I've taken tons of ballroom dance classes and plan on doing more in the future. Salsa & tango are tons of fun.

I don't know whether starting to learn game is easier on foreign women or Americans, but definitely travel, and take advantage of the information that's on this board. Don't re-invent the wheel or go to places where it's going to be extra difficult to pick up girls, i.e. Argentina. I know I would definitely hit up SE Asia and Korea/Japan, but that's me. It's easy to lose focus when your choices are so wide open. Maybe see a bunch of places and come back to one you like later for longer? Go to the place that's likely to have the kinds of women you're most attracted to. Agree on learning to dance.

November said it best. TRAVEL. I am a living proof. It just changes you in so many ways. You never be the same man again. Back 4 years ago when I was in the USA, I had zero game. Only the fatties pick me up.

But since living abroad for the last 4 years, I find it easier to pick up both american women and foreign women. I mean you just have to talk and automatically you are the prize. Any cosmopolitan city will be fine.
