They had Prince haircuts, Prince clothes, a Prince keyboards, Prince drum patters, and even a song title that referenced one of Prince's proteges, Sheila E. But if you mentioned Prince to them, they apparently got insulted.

I certainly remember the band. I was totally unaware of the connection to Prince though.
