Another "Where Should I go to During Christmas Break" Thread

Hello Again Everyone,

You all have helped me solve my problem on what to do during the summer. You all have helped me solve where to study abroad. Now, I have Christmas break in three weeks, so I can spend 2 weeks to a month in a location. I'm trying to decide where to go...

France is again a possibility: Decent french ability, and once I study for the next few weeks, I should be day game worthy. They like black guys and its pretty cheap to get there.

Iceland: Obvious reasons

Brazil or Australia: Interesting Countries, It is WARM there, and where I am is cold. So, it would be a nice change.

Canada: Montreal and Winnipeg Combination

But, if a combination is possible in a month or two weeks:

Winnipeg, Montreal, California, Australia

California, Brazil

Dominican Republic, London, Paris

Mtl, DR, Iceland

Thailand, Poland, Australia

So, If I had two choices, one for sizeable budget and one for low budget, which one or combination would you choose?

Black Quix, let me warn you that Montreal and Winnipeg are EXTREMELY cold.
I went to Winnipeg in the fall (which isn't as cold as Christmas) and I was welcomed by a minus 33 celsius temperature. I don't know how receptive the lizards are in Winnipeg during such savage temperatures (I was eye fcuked to pieces up there) but the cold WILL be colder than where you are now (unless you currently reside in Greenland).
Montreal is also ball chilling cold and has some cutting winds.
If Antarctic winds don't bother you, then those seem like good choices.

I second what Moma said, I did NYE in Montreal a few years back and did not want to leave the hotel. I live in Canada and am not afraid of cold, but that was on a different level. In Winnipeg the cars have plugs stick out the front of them, reason being they plug there engines in at night to heaters so that they do not crack.

Australia - not cheap to get too and apparently not cheap once you get there.

I would also concentrate your list on two places max.

On your list I like DR, Brazil and Iceland.

Ok, thank you very much guys for the feedback.

So, that leaves me with Winnipeg, Montreal, DR, Brazil, and Iceland as choices and I would have to pick two.

So it would either be: Winnipeg/Montreal + DR or Brazil, or Iceland + DR or Brazil?

Winnipeg is REALLY far from Montreal, over 2000 kms! If I was to choose between the two, I would opt for Montreal, definitely! It has an international reputation that can be vouched for on this forum, Winterpeg, not so much!

If you're looking into a combo trip within Canada, I would do Montreal and Ottawa (about 2 hours apart by car) or Montreal and Quebec City (about 3 hours by car).

I don't know what the party scene in Ottawa is like but I know that Quebec City is good, especially along La Grande Allee (best club is Dagobert), and the French Canadian women are by far the sexiest in Canada!

Dude are you just talking or are you REALLY going to go somewhere, your choices seem all over the place.

Winnipeg or Rio, are you serious. Chances are you cannot handle minus 30c weather and how many girls do you think you are going to meet. Montreal will be slightly "warmer" but again most Canadians will avoid that place during Xmas/NYE.

Do you have deep pockets??? If not then DR is your only choice.

Sorry to be abrupt but I think you were on here before asking alot of questions...

.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

@rudebwoy: Yes, I do have Deep pockets. I may be young but I handle my business. While I appreciate your concern, I would like an answer. Its not costing you or I anything to conversate, thus, there should be no problem. If you consider it a waste of time to answer my question so be it, there are plenty of other members that have no problem otherwise.

For instance, this summer I will be checking out Sweden as per your recommendation. Im touring Europe this summer.

I am all over the place because I am trying to pick a place that is interesting and is the best usage of my time. $2k to go to DR and have half as much fun as going to australia with $8k is no comparison. I spend my time working out, doing business, playing sports and studying. I dont drink or smoke aside from two instances and my food for the year is already paid for, so I have little expenses and can use all my business $$$ for developing both myself and enjoying a vacation when the oppurtunity arises.

Im young, but Im smart. So unless you have something to offer besides condescending comments then just dont click on this thread if it doesnt interest you.

Thanks Again Mate.

Soma - perhaps I did not make myself clear, i have stated many times that Montreal is the best city in Canada. NYE is a great time to go but it will be cold as balls there. I am just wondering if the OP can handle such cold.

BQ - ok now that we know you are for real. Winnipeg and Australia are out, one is too cold and the other too far.

Iceland would get my vote, after you read BANG Iceland of course.

It's probably better for me to respond in this thread instead of making a new one since I'm in the same spot as Quixote so I hope he doesn't mind me hijacking the thread.

I have 2 weeks of vacation for Xmas and my choices are Vegas/Phoenix or Toronto/Montreal. I know Toronto is frowned upon here but one of my
guy's stays there and I'll be crashing with him.
He's an english brother that has done well there and he's not the type to lie about what his dick has
done. I'd go to Montreal after 4 days in TO and hope the hoes up there are feeling me. I don't care about the weather coming from the midwest,
I just want to go somewhere.

On the other hand, I pipelined a girl in Phoenix and would be staying with her but the possibility of Montreal being off the hook is kind of outweights my interest in going to the west coast.

Montreal for NYI is really good . Way better than Ottawa . But it's quite expensive to go out in a bar now for NYI. You have to consider to pay 100$ for the cover in most of them . I never went to Quebec city for NYI but if you want to see nice women it's the place to be . They are more sophisticate than montreal and overall Quebec city have less tourist , I prefer go there .

Why only the US and Canada?

I'm flying standby and considering that I'm leaving on the 23rd or Xmas Eve, I'd rather not chance being bumped on an international flight. Latin America may be in April since I have two weeks off followed by Eastern Europe in the summer.
