Molluscum, Sex, etc.

A scuzzy girl gave me Molluscum in genital region 5 months ago..and I still have them. They are so tiny (pin head size) and hidden in pubic hair region. Rest of body I think is clear.

For those who dOnt know what Molluscum is, they are harmless pimple like dots that can be transmitted sexually. This in my opinion is shittier than herpes- cause w herpes you pop a pill and it's gone soon. This I've had like 5 months.

So, my question is.....anyone else have this? Or HAD this? And j know it's contagious- that's what makes me feel anxious in general. But I have at least 2 girls I can be banging regularly, and could be meeting other awesome girls weekly.

Should I let this get in my way? I want to fuck but now spread it. It can generally last a few months to 5 years. What does everyone think?

I was dealing with this for months last year. A few bumps showed up around my pubic hair area. I ignored it for months thinking they were just razor bumps. But they didn't go away, in fact, one day I looked down and they had multiplied. As one might expect, I freaked out and starting googling everything about STDs. I narrowed it down to molloscum and tried to figure out the best treatment.

I put off going to a doctor because it seemed like people were having success getting rid of them with home remedies. The most important thing is to prevent spreading. Don't touch them. I put little pieces of duct tape over all my bumps and changed out the tape daily. Next, I bought tea tree oil soap at Trader Joes and washed my genital area thoroughly each night. From my recollection, it only took a week or two for the the bumps to disappear following this regimen.

It was a desperate time for me. I had to avoid sex and at times I thought this would never go away.

just go to a dermatologist, don't scratch it, and they'll put on some freezing spray and scrape it off. It spreads through blood so don't scratch it, but the doctor can do it because they have a special spray that kills the virus when the blood is exposed after the sores are scraped open. It's not doctor scholls or anything you can get without a license so don't try it at home, just go to a dermatologist.

Jesus christ. Where were you meeting these girls? (Not judging, just wondering how common it is, and where you'd find it.)

I had molluscum about 7 years ago. Got it from the town slut who I hit raw. Over the 6 months i had about 4 or 5 wart-like eruptions on my shaft that I got frozen off.

After that incident I learned my lessons and stopped banging sluts raw....

Just kidding. [Image: hump.gif]

Thanks guys, especially cool. Any girl can have this, and they can simply look like razor bumps- they can be hard to find on a girl. Most prow probably mistake them for razor bumps.

I started out by going to a dermatologist. I had only 1 in the beginning and my idiot dermatologist poked it to take a biopsy. I wish he had exPlained to me they could spread if he pokes it. After he poked it open, I had about 10-12 new ones within a week. I don't trust Drs anymore, and started taking Tagamet on my own. It sometimes works for viruses like this, herpes and hpv.

It's described as a "self limiting disease" by most Drs. This is their way of saying they don't know how to help you.

Take a multi-vitamin to boost your immune system

Since molloscum is essentially harmless-- not even causing itching or pain-- I don't think you should let it affect your sex life. Wrap yourself up as long as you have the bumps, but don't worry about whatever % chance there is that she'll get it from you. People interact with others while they have a cold or flu all the time, and that is more of an inconvenience.

Worse than Herpes? Herpes has no cure yet pal.

You have herpes?

Herpes you take a pill and symptoms go away. This is different. Reread original post and responses to understand better.

I got molluscum a few years ago in Argentina. Down there they scrape each one out individually with a curette, then swab you down with alcohol since, as you seem to have figured out, they are directly spread through skin-skin and skin-fluid contact. Fun stuff and as a bonus they shave your crotch for you if you roll tarzan-style. FYI, Roosh, you can get them whether or not you wear a condom, since the girl's crotch is rubbing on your crotch and you're bound to get fluid there. In the US, as mentioned, they freeze them and scrape them off, which is probably less painful and significantly more hygenic. It's an STD in the sense that you *can* get them through sexual contact, but I think overall it's actually more common among kids than among adults, rubbing their elbows together.

Personally I would make sure I'm asymptomatic before having sex, or let my partner know beforehand, but they are indeed harmless and basically just an annoyance. STD minor-leagues.

Symptoms generally go away, but you are stuck with outbreaks for the rest of your life. You're also putting every person you sleep with for the rest of your life at risk. Quite a difference if you ask me.

And no, just because your symptoms are gone doesn't mean you cannot spread the virus (I don't have it).

I had a molluscum scare earlier this year. Turned out to just be a bunch of ingrown hairs due to some hardcore bedroom activities. Still, it scared me enough to go get tested, see a dermatologist, and take additional precautions in the future.

Moloscum usually have dimples in the middle of the bump. I get them around my right arm if I'm under the weather. Autoimmune related, but they can spread like a virus. The dermatologist put this bug juice on it which burns the bumps off.

Not autoimmune related...its an infection that occurs due to direct contract.

Unlike herpes, it does not remain dormant in the body. If it clears or you have it burned off, will only recur if you are re-infected from another slut.

Mine was directly caused by it. VIrus that got through due to weaken immune system. I had no sluts on my arm.

If your immune system was weak, you would be more susceptible. But the virus had to come from somewhere outside of yourself. Girl most likely , other possibilities could be a shared towel, etc...

Molluscum doesn't remain dormant inside you.

Molluscum is not an STD, though it can be transmitted through any skin to skin contact.

It is not painful or harmful, and eventually clears up on its own, so comparing it to excruciating, incurable herpes seems extreme.

I know some people won't thrilled about trying this, but it can be cured at home in 3-5 weeks on the cheap- no covering up, no smelly oils.

Bleach the area using a cotton ball, twice daily. (Do not dilute it) Air dry, and the scent dissipates. Take cimetidine (tagamet) orally once daily. Don't reuse towels, and lysol sheets between weekly washings.

Voila. Cured. I swear.
