Cool. How's the BBC documentary "the real hong kong"? I wonder if they have it on multiple cities also.

Yeah watched them but they left me with an air of "is this it?" as they cover only the bare minimum and the most PC correct things. I wish there was a documentary/tv series like that but covering everything from the good touristy to the more party oriented all without any PC related BS. Now that would be awesome!

You guys should watch The Travel Channel. Anthony Bourdain ("No Reservations" and "The Layover," a new show), Samantha Brown ("Passport to Europe" and "Passport to South America") and Andrew Zimmern ("Bizarre Foods"). Bourdain and Zimmern, though they use food as a backdrop, really get into the guts of the places they travel to. Brown focuses more on the common tourist places, but all of them do a good job in terms of giving you an idea about the culture, and the off-the-beaten path places to see.

"The best kind of pride is that which compels a man to do his best when no one is watching."

Also check out History of Singapore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O12Lwol3iaY

Really solid Discovery channel documentary.
Singapore is one of the world's safest, most scure and economically sound countries right now. The policies and vision of Lee Kuan Yew (Singapore's first prime minister) are unparalleled.

Check out "Human Weapon" and "Fight Quest" if you like MMA.
