Study in Belarus/Ukraine

What subject would you guys pick if you were to study in the FSU for a year?
Maybe Russian language and lit? History? Philosophy?

What programs would a university in the FSU be good at?

I'm open to hearing wild and crazy ideas.

also, what about Chernobyl?

A wife from Belarus has a higher risk of cancer and giving birth to children with birth defects, yes?

I think it might be a possibility..

If you are looking to spend time in a country looking to find a wife, I would not be going to Belarus. Not because the women in Belarus are lacking, purely because the thought of spending more than a few weeks there is such a depressing prospect.

Unless you have a real interest in the local language, culture or history, you may be better off teaching in Russia or Ukraine. Studying there wont bring much value unless its part of a long term career choice IMO.

Yeah, I wonder about that too since Belarus got hit with most of the Chernobyl fallout. The women might look good, but I'd be worried about them pumping out some messed up kids. I'd check them OFF the list for possible baby-making, but their radioactive pussies are still on my pounding list.

Damn. You're probably right. I guess I'll stick to Ukraine.
Its a shame, the girls there seem nice.

.....maybe some of the regions that got less radiation are worth it?

I'm sure Minsk is basically fine... it looks far enough away. Kiev is actually way closer to Chernobyl, but Belarus took 80% of the fallout.

Heck, with all the xenoestrogens floating around the western world which are making people fat and feminizing men (they're everywhere... in our food, water, products, cookware, plastics, etc), Minsk is probably a step up as far as a healthy environment.

Off topic... most people simply assume Americans are fat because they don't exercise and eat horrible foods. Sure those 2 things don't help, but I believe a big reason has to do with xenoestrogens altering our hormones. There's literally a chemical war being waged by the elitists on our health and bodies. It's the perfect slow-acting war weapon to make a huge portion of the population fat, weak, timid, and docile.

Ironic that the average 2nd/3rd world person is healthier than the average American.

If you study languages in Ukraine the classes will be almost entirely female [Image: smile.gif]

When I was in Kiev I saw a day tour to Chernobyl, apparently it becomes tourist attraction.
There is strange vegetation there covering the old houses, and some odd animals.
You go there with a guide which holds a device that check the radiation wherever you go to verify it is no above limit, I did not trust it so I skipped the tour and went to the museum in Kiev instead.

Correct!

I suggest you better study...or rather teach English in Ukraine.
I taught 2 English lessons during summers - there were 11 students in both classes - all girls! [Image: smile.gif]

There's a very interesting documentary on Youtube about Chernobyl called "life in the dead zone"
