Virden, Manitoba, Canada is a town near me that has always been a little "rough" with men who like to drink and fight and women who are notorious for being sluts. It's a medium sized town, mabe 15 or 20 thousand people (I'm guessing), but it definately has a reputation. I dated a girl from there for awhile and I asked her about why she thought the girls were so easy... she laughs and say " it's always been like that, there's something in the water". Understand that these dudes are very protective of their sluts. If you or I or any random guy was to walk into a bar in Virden, you WOULD be in a fight before you had time to walk out. If you were winning that fight then you WOULD get jumped by three of four others.
I've always been curious about the particular dynamic in that town, how the guys are masculine and the girls are so sexual, and how it must be related in some way. I wonder which came first.
So I guess what I'm curious about is if some of you guys who have travelled and seen more towns/cities than me have noticed anything like this. Have any of you noticed that girls are easier and more sexual in towns that have macho men? Or do you think that the men grew to be more macho because the women were giving it up but only to the top dogs?

I looked the town up on wikipidia and it says the pop is 3000. Maybe its cause since its an oil town the guys who work in the oil industry are macho and they fill up the few bars in town and only the slutty girls go out to said bars. I don't really know though, that's just a wild guess.

They did! That's why their up there now.

We have local places here that are just like that and yes if you pull there you will have to fight your way out. It just takes time to get used to that kind of scene.

Be warned: Once you get used to it other venues seem VERY boring.

I'm just curious about the dynamic. I wonder which came first and I thought some of you guys might have seen similar situation in other towns.
It has to be a) the men have always been macho/masculine so the girl are more in touch withe their femenine/sexual side.
or b) the women have always been ultra sexual so the men have learned the real deal about what gets chicks wet and
so they have embraced their macho/masculine side.
I'd like to hear from someone who grew up in the 'hood'. My guess is that there is the same dynamic there.

You know I used to hang out in the hardcore/metal music scene around my state. It's all filled with big steroid looking mofos with tattoos and piercings and the girls are just the same.

I'd hardly call them tough guys. They always roll in groups of 20 or more. There was nothing cute or feminine about the girls either. Just trash talking gutter skanks who think they're men and get in just as many fights for no reason. I still have friends from that scene but the girls are def not GF or wife material at all.

Don't be fooled though ...there are just as many sluts out there that are cute and pretty and feminine.

I like to think I've moved past all these kinds of girls. You can tell if a girl is a slut after talking to her for 10 minutes or less if you what to look for.

I think Riker got it right. Oil industry guys that settled up there. Blue collar guys with lots of money. Just attracts blue collar bar skanks.

I think I know what you mean Ripsaw.I have a town like that 30 miles from where I live.Behaviour that would get you locked up in most places is considered perfectly normal...even for the elders who of course have spent their whole lives there so they know what to expect.Wild brawls,men slappin' girls around,domestic violence ect.

I think it just comes down to these towns having a closed minded mentality and they just have'nt moved with the times.These people have often never lived anywhere else or even traveled out of state.They still think it's the wild west.

Yeah,the girls from these towns are hardcore sluts and great in bed.They usually start very young so they gain experiance real fast.Fucking is the main hobby in these towns as there is not much else to do.If you bang one the whole male population of the town will be after you.These chicks love men fighting over them and get off on seeing violence.

I am sure the term "spring breakup" is not all about the river ice.

I have watched countless cousins go through this.

They head out of town for a couple weeks of work. Their girlfriend hooks up with a guy. People talk. Buddy gets home and hears about the situation and punches out the other guy. The girl feels wet. So do a couple other broads who hated buddies girl. Buddy hooks up with one (who has a boyfriend working out of town) and the whole wheel keeps on a turning.

I always loved smallers towns. I remember one time when i was 18/19 me and my friends went out to this city near leeds (England) and i would just approach a girl and start kissing her without saying anything..yo it was crazy..kissing girl after a girl without saying much or anything at all haha..good fucking times.

Yup. Small towns are mini soap operas I've spent time in Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan in some small as places. Evreybody just fucks around there's nothing to do but fuck! Dudes are more rugged up there they are raised doing manly shit like hunting, playing hockey and doing rough labour. They are raised alphas or they emulate it preety damn well. The women just compete for cock up their and like you said try and slay a dude down for the winter.

As a brother I cleaned up in those small towns. Nobody wanted to start shit I was like a celeb when I went up there. The chics are mad skanky and questionably dirty tho. My homie caught some minor shit from one skanks up and it Didn't help our confidence at all when some broad told me that somebody in the HS caught HIV. In a town of like 3000 that a dangerous number range to deal with.

I think the men came first. Because remember the women we're more traditional in the past, some still all. They would settle down supper early and get married and pop out kids. This still happens but I think female "liberation" via pop culture infiltrated the small towns and the females tapped into their inner whores.

Being from Iowa, I've seen this alot. Part of this mentality has to do with the fact that there isn't much to do in small towns except fuck and fight. Also, in small towns there is a decreased law enforcement presence which means you can get away with fighting and not be locked up. In the city, most dudes avoid fights for fear of being arrested.

Most small town bars are redneck sausage fests, but occasionaly you'll hit a bar full of hot country sluts and if that you're guaranteed a good time

I think part of it has to do with the fact that the town gets desensitised to the 'slut factor' and so girls can whore it up, when they're young and their horomones are raging, without getting a bad rep.
