Kaiserslautern, Germany

Just got back visiting a friend in Kaiserslautern over the weekend (or K-town as the Americans call it). I wasn't expecting much, since I envisioned it being mini-America (50,000 American civilians and military are stationed there).

But instead I found a thriving nightlife with plenty of opportunities to get laid. I was approched a couple times, once by a Fillipina chick, and the again by a German, so it seemes pretty effortless. Unfortunately I wasn't really able to capitalize as I was otherwise occupied.

For the brothers, there is a hip-hop club which I'm told German chicks line up to get into in order to meet black Americans....We checked it out, but it was rather dead when we were there..

Bottom line: If you are travelling Europe, K-town is not a bad stopping point to party, however I wouldn't recommend spending any longer than 2 days there.

Haha one of my friend's dads from Kaiserlautern. It's a tiny city, there's a lot better in Germany. Small cities like nearby Heidelberg would be a lot better game wise.

Not sure that tiny accurately describes it. The population is 105K, and probably much bigger if you include the surrounding towns. I wouldn't consider bigger cities to always be better. Take Munich for example. It is one of the biggest cities in Germany, but I havent had any good experiences there. Its a pain in the ass to get around in, ugly (full of post war reconstructed buildings) and has an abysmal night life. I'm not saying that Kaiserslautern is the ultimate mecca for nightlife, but its not too shabby either...

Side note: Before I offend anyone about the shitty nightlife in Munich, I'm speaking more from my personal experiences there. If anyone was some good club reccomendations, please let me know and I might change my opinion. ...

There is never offense klosck, unless an imaginary recipient decides to get offended instead of taking it easy, or better, actually think whether there is any truth in the comment / feedback and work on some sticking points

I was born and raised in Germany, not far from Munich, though still technically Bayern, the nearest big city was in Baden Wurtemberg, where they actually build James Bond's gun, Walter PPK [Image: smile.gif] Since I was of gastarbeiter kid background, I always thought that Germany is not offering much for me, had no idea where people would hang out etc...

Well, spending some years in the states, and learning about the game etc... in London, I started experimenting in Germany, and as long as one has the right fundamentals (like being dominant, open minded, and basically having fun), it's straightforward to pull hotties.

Yes, our party town was also around 100-150k people, and I started actually looking for fliers, party posters and started going to those places (yep, weekends are your best bet, but Munich will be offering more weekdays as well, but possibly not the regular clubs, but check facebook etc...).

My experience so far is that, no matter how shitty or small a town is, one can always work on their game, as long as you do some research and go to the right place at the right time.

There will always be some places where you just like the ambiance, atmosphere etc..., I have some favorite places in London. However, if I'm really on top of my game and feel good, I can pull in any location. However, we are all human and sometimes other commitments can get in a way and we won't have the energy and we just need a place where things are easier

And I think the best thing about Germany is that it is relatively cheaper compared to Russia or UK, while making same or better money

James,

I live in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, (as I'm sure you know also in Bayern) and it has only about 26k people. It only has 3-4 nightlife hot spots, and they are all filled with hot women. Bavarians are a little more conservative than the rest of Germans I think, but its not hard toget laid at all...

Compare that to my hometown in Iowa. Its 5x as big as Garmisch and a horrible place to go out...

Well, I take an educated guess and think that may be in the small Iowa town you just simply did not have the right skills set, back then when you were living there, and now in Germany you do have the skill set.

When you go back to Iowa and apply the right skill set, assuming you educate yourself on what is the right skillset in Iowa small town, you can still reach the potential that that city is offering

I did question my false beliefs in Germany when I was visiting my family and killed many of the wong beliefs (well, as a son of a gastarbeiter, you can compare it to the african americans in the 70s - and as of today, Germany still requires job applicants to have their picture in job applications, rife ground for discrimination) - and Bavaria is deeply Catholic and has a more conservative version of the CDU, namely CSU in power for god nows how long.

I've lived in Ktown twice. Once as a GI (2003 - 2006) and once as a civilian (2011). It's got a surprisingly thriving nightlife for such a small town, and yes it's very brother friendly lol. In fact, if you're a white dude I'd say just head east to Munich or Stuttgart cause you might not get any love. But the girls aren't exactly good quality. The Markthalle and Black Sounds are two black clubs in the city that is straight up club monster HQ. I've picked a few up from there back in the day but it's really slumming. The German version of Roppongi in Tokyo. The Nachtschicht (Nightshift) is a club directly across from the Hauptbahnhof and it's a little better. It's a good example of how clubs in this area USE to look pre-2006. Lot's rooms (the biggest being the hip hop room) and a variety of girls. I like clubs like this because the lilly white rocker or techno girls would every now and again venture into the unknown hip hop room out of bordom and get swooped up by a guy like me [Image: smile.gif] Plus there are tons of other places around there that are thriving (Saabruchen, Mannheim/Heidelberg to name a few).
