I need an honest opinion

Okay I'm not trolling or anything... I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to ask an honest question...
I've noticed a couple years ago, but now it has urked me even more... the right side of my face looks different and is slightly uglier than the left side... I heard somewhere that people dont trust people with highly asymmetrical faces... I also happen to have almost no friends and never had a gf despite me being very active in school clubs(college)..
Can I hear your take on this?
and I know you might say it's my personality, but I'm such a nice guy and I'm fun and chill.. and yet I have trouble making friends.

edit: I would say my left side is 7 and right is 5 in looks.

Whats the difference between the two sides?

it's not a scar or anything like that.. the eye is different and less unnatractive.. the face is more sagged whereas the left side is lean and tight... i dunno. it just really sucks.
btw I'm only 19 and I look young for my age so it's not age.

No. I have no medical conditions.. its not that bad. It's just that it's more different than most people have.. asymetrically wise.

how to make friends. I genuinely need help with that. my OP was kind of stupid because it was looking for some kind of pity.

Honestly looks has nothing to do with being more social. People will remember you more for your personaility rather than one side of your face.

Try a new set of glasses, maybe your right eye is out of whack and you only think your right side is different

are there any cool people in the Polish club? small talk with them and see what kind of hobbies they have and share yours. talk to people from your classes. invite them to go hiking or mountain biking. if you're fun and chill there are no reason for people to not want to hang out with you. just come up with cool events and invite people. play soccer. go hiking. go mountain biking. go hang out at a bar during happy hour (you don't even have to personally drink). just start coming up with fun things to do all the time. introduce your friends from the Polish club to your friends from your classes. you should do the introducing because it make you look popular. once you get people to start coming out.. more people are going to want to be your friends because you will be the cool popular guy that is coming up with all these cool activities and bringing people together.

and don't worry about your looks. it's not as important as you think. Neil Strauss looks like a ninja turtle and he's banging models now!

Oh man I have the same thing! I swear I'm like a 7 on one side and a 6-6.5 on the other. Whatever though, we've all seen uglier guys than us with tons of friends and lots of girls so no biggie [Image: smile.gif] Try reading "How to Make friends and Influence people" Warren Buffet was a big antisocial introvert and reading that book made him a cool guy that got lots of friends and a couple wives.

One of the big things from that book is to be genuinely interested in other people and getting to know them. People always want to talk about themselves so if you are interested in them it will flatter them and they will like you. Be genuine though.
