Baltics, Prague, Warsaw, Budapest in the summer

I was thinking of visiting eastern Europe this summer but I've seen some comments here that I should wait till fall because cheap flights from Western Europe had made the cities flooded by stag parties of Brits, Italians and Spaniards, particularly at night, and that a lot of locals go abroad during the summer when school is out or they take off from work.

These posts are several years old and it's hard to find more recent comments about this phenomenon. For anyone that's been to these places recently -- should I go in June/July or wait till September/next May?

I’m coming from the United States and don’t want to travel a few thousand miles to meet drunk tourists.

I would visit the female-dominated student cities (for example Krakow) between March and June or September to December. This is a general guideline. This is because the summer holidays start at the end of June and all the students and locals either go on holiday or fly back to their families. The semester break times can vary from country to country. It may be that in a certain period the semester goes until July. You have to find out in which country the summer semester ends. If you fly to Eastern Europe during the summer holidays you will see a lot of sausage festivals.

I don't know which holiday resorts have a large surplus of women between July and September. I would be interested to know...
