Australian cricketer makes joke on instagram, 'woke' journalists 'out' him as gay

Guy makes joke about his business partner being his bf, 'woke' twitter thinks 'omg a player is gay!!!!!' Turns out it was a joke and his teammates who congratulated him were playing along lol.

The media are waiting for a male athlete to come out- considering gay activists say 'up to 20% of the population is gay'.

Additionally, this shows how lazy journalists are today. As Denzel Washington said in an interview after Trump election, for them it's about burnt 'first', not correct.

Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has denied being in a same-sex relationship, after initially causing confusion with an Instagram post featuring his best mate.

The 29-year-old shared a message to his Instagram followers on Monday night during birthday celebrations.

"Birthday dinner with the boyfriend (best mate!!!) @robjubbsta and my mother @roslyn_carol_faulkner," he wrote, alongside the hashtag "#togetherfor5years".

The photo shows Faulkner eating dinner with his mother and his partner Rob Jubb.

Current and former players alike voiced their support for the Tasmanian all-rounder.

Glenn Maxwell wished him a happy birthday, saying he had "great courage".

Former pace bowler Brett Lee echoed the sentiment, writing: "Good on ya mate. Have a lovely birthday Jimmy."

There was some conjecture around the image however, with some suggesting the man pictured alongside Faulkner was just a 'best friend' and not actually his boyfriend.

Faulkner later clarified that the whole incident had been "taken out of context", according to a Cricket Australia spokesperson.

Faulkner hasn't played international cricket since 2017, but is still a regular fixture in the Big Bash League for the Hobart Hurricanes.

England's Steven Davies was the first professional cricketer to public reveal he is gay eight years ago.

Small minds discuss people.
Average minds discuss events.
Great minds discuss ideas.

The NPC cadre marching in lock step out of universities today are definitely not great thinkers.

Yup
notice how these low lives are always seeking something to be offended about.

I guess it's easier than working hard for your ideal life

Australian cricketer makes joke on instagram, 'woke' journalists 'out' him as gay

This thread hasn't caught on.
For anyone outside of Aus, this story was THE BIGGEST STORY in Australia.

The possibility that an athlete might have been gay made everything stop. From an Instagram joke, they made dozens and dozens of articles about him 'coming out', not even checking with him.

Now they are blaming him for 'trivialising' being gay rather than recognizing it was terrible journalism.

As an American, I think this story is hilarious. I’d like to see him spotted in public with a chick and see the mental gymnastics of the homo press. It’s funny to think that there could be hanger-ons that really want to believe that he’s gay.

Aussie chad is thinking it'll just be a bit of fun banter, meanwhile the Australian media has other ideas. Take notice, they desperately wanted a current cricket player to come out as gay. The backpedaling is hilarious.

Rather amusing how much NPC / Soycialist folk can care. When ultimately it doesn't mean jack shite.
It won't make the guy a better athlete.
It won't make the guy a better cricketer.
If a gay cricketer was to announce themselves, all they could do was feature at this small event or speak at that event. Nothing more.

Yet the NPC / Soycialist types must live such empty & dreary lives, that athlete X stating gay, means so, so much to them.

Houses built on sand...

When religion is sucked out of society the void is filled with virtue-signalling rituals and public shaming exercises. At the end of the day someone has to be elevated, and in this case, for whatever reason, due to feminism etc, it's gays, women and minorities. Such a system is anathema to merit as well.
