Hair problem

I think I might have a bald spot, I am not sure. My hair doesn't seem to be growing as rapidly as it did in the past. I'm confused, I just turned 20, when exactly does hair stop growing and what damages/hampers hair growth? Is this temporary or related to stressful environments (of which I am in currently)?

It can happen at any age for a number of reasons.

Most common reasons are genetics, diet, and stress.

I'm 25 almost 26 and my hair is thinning at the top. See a hair specialist but if it's genetic, then fuck it there's not much you can do. Saw a blind guy on the metro today so having thinning hair is really not a big deal by comparison. Maximise other areas and don't be self conscious about the hair or it will filter into your game.

Im 34 and my hair is also thinning quite a bit(probably due to wearing caps forever and my grandfathers baldness) and ive just gone back to the shaved head steez instead of trying to work it.
Like flashbang said:dont be self conscious about it,act now.
I was starting to build a complex about it,and shaved it all off yesterday and almost instantly i felt better about it.not to mention its cleaner and virtually no maintenance is required.

Where is the bald spot?

There are different types of hair loss

If on crown of bead....genetic biggest determinant

I look twice as good in a hat as without one. If you're that self-conscious, wear a hat and get a prescription.

Yeah I'm mid twenties and also losing hair - it's not so dramatic yet that I need to shave it off, but I've accepted that I'll have to buzz it off at some point.

Any idea what kinds of faces/looks are most compatible with a bald/buzz cut?

I feel that Asian guys can pull this look off pretty well - especially if they have a solid amount of muscle mass, it can work in their favor.

Black dudes obviously have this look down.

Best faces / shapes for the buzz are more defined jawline and a smaller forehead.

Also the darker you are the better.

Black guys have it soo fucking good. Most of them can shave their head and look BETTER than they did with hair.

You must have a cute face to pull off the shaved look. You also need a decent shaped head without lumps and nasty marks. I would buzz it, not go Mr Clean style. Facial hair goes good with shaved heads.

What kind of facial hair would you recommend to go with shaved hair? I currently roll clean shaven because I've read, and been told by chicks that clean shaven is often seen as "cleaner". We all know how unreliable these sources are so I wonder what combination would work best for the shaven head look.

Flashbang - I would at least have a goatee. Add a moustache and maybe connect them if u like that look.

I also noticed that having shorter hair (shaved included) also makes you happier. Longer hair = sadder attitude. Don't know why. But I've actually met more guys who experienced the same.

I'm 28 and my hair is receding at the temples. The truth is I get more eye-fucking from girls now, I think it's because I look older with it. Many girls have told me also that receding hair at the front can be sexy.

My advice is just ignore other men if they say it will be bad for you. I had very long hair in my university days and many girls also loved it; I thought bald men had things worse, but it was because the girls I had back then were the girls attracted to long hair.

If you want to treat it, there are only two things that work: finasteride and minoxidil. I got minoxidil, but I had to give it up because my skin itched like hell.

I started losing hair when I was 17 or so.

Shaving my head bald at the age of 21 was the best move I did in my life.

I'm lucky to have a decent shaped head for that look. I actually think my attraction points went way up! I look really badass and with a goatee to give an edge.

It felt liberating. No more worries, life goes on.

Wear sunscreen.

Yea, I knew you were Brazilian. But as you know Brazilians can come in all colors and shapes.

I think black and brown people pull off the shaved look WAY better than white dudes can.

What more do you know about these 2 products? Are they expensive and do they actually work? There's so much hype out there that it's hard to cut through the bullshit and get at the truth.

Minoxidil is a lotion you put on your scalp; it costs 20 or 30 euros here in Spain for one month or two. Finasteride (pills) is known also as Propecia (60 euros per month), but I know people who buy Proscar, cut the pills and it lasts many months per 20 euros or so.

The problem with Finasteride is that it can affect your libido or your prostate. I haven't used it.

I don't know if they'd work on me, but I know one guy who used Propecia for some years and kept his hair; he left it and he became bald in a matter of months.

By the way, where do you come from? It's curious how people bald according to their ancestry; as far as I've seen, Germans, Southern Italians, North Africans or Southern-Western Spaniards usually keep their hair, while Brits, Northern Italians, Palestinians and Northern-Eastern Spaniards are more likely to bald.
I read some statistics about it, and it said the most balding countries in Europe were Greece and Macedonia.

Finasteride definitely out then. Minoxidil could be promising if it can regrow the hair but it it just stops it from going I couldn't be bothered. These days hair growth is actually a liability someotimes because it's thinner at the front than at the sides so the faster it grows the faster I need to shave.

I'm from Malta in south Europe, a country 60 lying between Sicily and Tunisia.

Here is an easy exercise.

Go get numerous fashion magazines ect with male models.

Look and see how many bald white guys you see in comparison to bald black guys.

I doubt you will find ONE bald white guy.
