Article says she's in NYC. I keep hearing about how there are way more single women than single men.
Yet here we have younger men lining up to bang an octagenarian.
This actually meshes well with my experience here in NYC. I've never seen any public social venue with a M:F ratio even close to 1:1. There's always tons of men at bars, meetups, etc.
It might still be true that there are more single women than single men on paper. Still, the notion that NYC is a great city for the average man (in absolute terms, not just relative to other cities in the Anglosphere) seems like a myth that needs to die.

Only this last week I've heard that Sweden will include non-binary gender in official statistics, that UK is denying Christian asylum seekers, in NZ they're banning guns, women are dressing up as Muslims and police are putting flowers in their holsters and in Belgium, there are now two elected politicians calling for Sharia laws.
