How much are you spending per month where you're living?

As I came back to Colombia and started doing my internship, I`m wondering how much money I need to save in order to take another badass trip.

I still haven´t figured out where and that´s why I´m asking you all the estimated amount you spend in everything during a month. I will probably travel in sep-oct so i have a couple of months to figure out my budget.

In case you´re wondering about Colombian prices:

- Rent: 750,000 pesos, roughly 250USD. I rent a flat with 2 roomates and we have a weekly maid.
- Groceries: About 400,000 pesos plus my daily lunch 340,000, around 250USD.
- Eating out: around 200,000 per weekend, 260USD

So my overall expenses for a month in Bogotá, Colombia, being frugal but not cheap is around 800 bucks a month. I walk to work and rarely cook. I do order sometimes through uber eats.

I try to be cheap while working in Canada so I can blow all of my money on women and entertainment while I'm in your country but a guy has to live so I broke down my monthly expenses and I'm paying about $1500 USD.

Living (condo with a roommate): $550

Car insurance plus monthly gasoline: $250

Cell data plan: $100

Groceries: $300

Random shit (gym membership, netflix, weed, etc): $300

As a Bay Area resident where sharing a room is over $550 (sharing an apartment is upwards of $1-1.5k)... is Canada accepting refugees?

I currently spend about 4.5kish a month in Ukraine.

Apartment is 2.5k a month.

Then I spend about 2kish a month total from restaurant meals, drinks , ubers , gym membership, and random things like massages, haircuts every week, manicures, laser hair removal and vitamins/ protein supplements.

But this is just me. If I was on a budget I can spend half and still be happy here.

Edmonton, Alberta. Those prices are mostly accurate for 2nd tier cities like Calgary, Ottawa, Victoria, Halifax, etc. In Toronto and Vancouver you could probably double the price of a room to rent and you'd also pay more for gasoline and car insurance, so I'd say at least $2000 USD/month in those two cities. Groceries do seem to be cheaper in the bigger cities though so you'd save a few bucks there each month, same with restaurants, there's a bunch of cheap spots on Granville (Van) and Queen (Tdot) where a guy can eat for $5-10, these places dont' seem to exist in Alberta for whatever reason.

Ukraine is a cheap country. But the apartment situation is different if you want something decent.

I would love to get something like this. I would consider this a baller apartment that I would be proud of.

But $8,000 USD a month for an apartment is retarded. In colombia you can get this quality apartment above for 3k usd a month.

The apartment that i have now is a nice apartment. 2 of the 3 girls that I brought over have told me "wow this is a nice place." but I dont consider it a baller apartment. It is a luxury modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. But I cant find anything better for 2.5k a month.

There are" okay" apartments for $500-$800 a month here. But I dont mind spending a little extra for better quality apartments.
