Weed in Brazil

I have look all over the internet trying to Cope with the realization that living in the pacific north west has completely destroyed my perception of marijuana. Living in the biggest marijuana glut in history I have grown delusional. Well, I wanted to get some rio veteran members opinion on procuring la “macunha” in the city of god. I’ve been several times but never even considered looking for it. But time a changin...

"All My Bitches love me....I love all my bitches,
but its like soon as I cum... I come to my senses."

How much are you guys paying for ganja in the PNW? I heard some prices coming out of Denver and was surprised how expensive it was. I’m paying about $80-120 for an ounce of high quality bud from internet sites in Canada, the legal weed shops are double those prices.

I have no idea about Brazil but Colombia has some great outdoor sativa and it’s very cheap, about $10-15/ounce but it’s weaker than what we’re used to so you have to smoke fatties. I love smoking fatties.

That’s cheap. Buddy of mine pays 20 a gram.... In all honesty from my understanding a gram can last a while.

$20/G in Brazil??? In tropical countries where ganja literally grows like a weed, you should be able to score an ounce or more at that price, the problem is quality. I was recently in Mexico and found a link who sold me about an ounce for $25 but it was terrible quality, it seems like Mexicans don’t give a shit about weed quality , same as the DR and the Caribbean coast of Colombia. The interior of Colombia (Bogota, Medelli, Cali) and of course Jamaica have great natural, organic outdoor weed and it’s cheap.

I’d like to know more about the ganja scene in Brazil.

Most weed in Southern South America comes from Paraguay. Someone inclined to describe the Paraguay in fashionable marketing terms could describe South America's most popular flower as "Sun grown and traditionally press cured according to centuries of tradition." The Paraguash coming out of Paraguay gets widely distributed across the region and national flower output in Paraguay likely exceeds Mexico's. Even in Uruguay where there is legal pharmacy wee, legal grow your own, and gray market locally grown weed... The Paraguash is a popular seasonal product once it gets harvested.

It is a very different product from the dry unpressed flowers declared "the good stuff" according to all of 3-4 decades of tradition in the US and Canada. Nevermind that the fashion up north is largely an arms race over product strength.

Anyways, getting stuff that isn't Paraguash in Southern South America appears to mostly be a social circle game with substantial local variation that involves people you may or may not want to social circle up to.

I lived in Brazil for a bit and any time I ever smoked, it was always garbage quality. Must've been that Paraguayan shit ^. Like he said, it comes down to who you know. I feel like down there it is damn hard to find a hippy that grows a couple plants and sells.

Most herb in foreign countries outside of America and Canada is trash. Amsterdam's quality is questionable . Clearly 3rd place when compared to the strength war in the US.

It's a bit of a shame though. Once you get used to US and Canadian herb everything else is just shit .

You'd be better off scoring seeds or buying from the darknet.
