When I was 19 I met a girl from Japan and she was very much into me. Regardless I've found that unless my expectations match my own effort requiring it unfair. I want thin therefore I am thin. I want successful therefore I am successful. Same thing with body hair. If there is something in a mate I desire if I'm unwilling or unable to match that I need to change my expectations or myself.

While I'm not saying a hairy guy can't date a smoothly shaved woman, he can't expect her to have a higher or equal level of personal hygiene than himself without possible issues. You're a hypocrite otherwise and yes there is always middle ground but I prefer my starting point to be on a similar level.

The AMOUNT of pubic hair a woman will grow if left ungroomed varies widely.

IMHO, the kind of women whose pubic hair doesn't grow that thick or spread that far are hotter than women who are fully groomed but you can tell by the stubble pattern would be a hairy monster. So while I prefer shaved, the sparser/finer pubic hair is a much more effective feminine "tell".

The same is true of leg hair. You can tell from how rough the stubble is how thick their leg hair would be if they didn't shave. The ones that would naturally only grow light leg hair have the smoothest shaved legs (not that I would tolerate actual leg hair).

I'm early 30s, about a decade ago I was on #teamshaven girls.
Now, I don't care. By the time i get the panties off I'm more concerned with smell and how wet she is than whether she shaved this morning.
I'm not big on going down on girls, so no concerns there.

I do think a girl having some pubic hair is more intimate when you are in a relationship, not crazy jungle bush but a trimmed patch.
