There’s the popular saying opposites attract and there’s the equally popular similarities attract. My feelings have oscillated between the two but over time have come to the conclusion that similarities attraction is stronger than the opposites attraction.

Again this is just from my sporadic experiences. Nothing concrete.

So here what I’m thinking of: Try to hit on girls who are visually as close to you as possible. Again there’s nothing ground breaking here but it has to adhere to the most traditional Darwinian lines of thought.

The female has to be :
1) Same race
2) Same skin tone
Aka same complexion
3) 5-6 inches shorter
4) same body language
I think most guys know who they are. Brash, rash, confident, cool, puny, nervous etc. so the ide is to try and hit it with same type of energy females. From their eye contact and general demenour you can sense it.


Any thoughts on this not so groundbreaking spitballing? The larger idea is to improve conversion rates and conserve efforts by going after a sure thing.

A good number of my friends are with girls who aren't too far off them how you describe, likewise my type is essentially the female version of me, I've always had greater success with girls that share the qualities you describe than those I share little with.

Not into girls of my race or similiar 99,9% of the time, and generally, I don't move in environments where they are the mainstream, so it's never happened, and probably never will. No loss in my book, though

I have occasionally thought about this as well OP, if we can come to somewhat of a conclusion it would be great because I have not really been able to come to any sort of a verdict on it. By finding the verdict we can better tell guys where to spend their time.

My observations and experiences have been a bit mixed on this.

I notice that opposites attract seems to be the hard-set rule when whites date each other, particularly people who are attractive and in their sexual prime. Rare for me to see a blonde or redhead stunner with a guy that looks similar to her, they seem to love the tall dark and handsome look. As for olive skinned brunettes and dark haired stunners, if they stick with white guys, tend to like them pale and light haired. Travel theories on the forum confirm this too, blond haired guys should go to countries where olive skinned brunettes are abundant while darker guys should go to really white countries.

As for me, I am brown and I do significantly better with white women, black women and even Asian women than I do with brown women. I generally target girls with above average looks or hot girls. My worst experiences when it comes to game have been with Indian, Pakistani and Middle Eastern women. I find that if they are born and raised in the west, they are unreceptive towards me although other brown guys on this forum may have different experiences.

Now you would think opposites attract is more true but strangely enough most of my lays have been dark haired and more tanned/exotic looking white women, they seemed to show the most interest on dating apps, especially when I was in NYC. I also found that black women were very receptive towards me.

My verdict so far?

I think it is more socially influenced by media than biological, we all know how susceptible women are to falling for whatever the media promotes as attractive.

Women judge men based on more than just their looks and see the meaning behind the look. To a woman, a man has to almost embody something, an experience or something she wants. I don't doubt that my experience with some of the sexier brown women out there has sucked because they wanted to climb the social ladder or appear as cool in America and a white guy or black guy was their ticket to doing that, at least that is how it is here on the east coast.

I thought back to this thread after doing a few approaches in the past couple of weeks. Given the topic and how it is occasionally discussed when traveling, I thought we would get some discussion going. Well here is an epiphany I have had lately when it comes to this sort of thing, not going to post on it again unless a discussion gets going. I know it is controversial but has to be said...

Women who dislike men of their own background and heritage are inherently damaged and tend to be hungry social ladder climbers with serious issues around insecurity and validation. This goes for men as well.

Now it is different than saying women who date interracially are damaged, attraction is what attraction is. Sometimes a quality guy or quality girl comes into your life to the point where you click and none of the race and culture stuff matters. I have gone interracial many times with women who just happened to click well with me, treated me well, and were fun to be around.

I am talking more about people who absolutely refuse to hook up with and date their own race; the kinds who have genuine hatred towards opposite sex members of their own race. In my view, there are serious problems going on there around image and insecurity that these sorts of people are best avoided. I would never go for a white girl that genuinely hates white guys and white guys going for ethnic girls who absolutely despise men of their own race are in for a rude awakening as well. It is usually a hunger for power, status, and a desperate need for social validation that makes women dislike men of their own background if they are not the most popular group to be with.

Some cultures I find are naturally image hungry and so in a diverse society, the women from those cultures and places of origin will go for whatever the media or society promote as attractive. Mediterranean, South American, and a lot of Middle Eastern women tend to fit this mold as in these cultures there is an added importance on image and the way you are socially perceived as opposed to values such as good character and doing the right thing. In most cases, there is a push in these cultures to avoid associating with people any darker than you and to go above and beyond to get whiter.
