For anyone who has tried it, what's the success rate and any interesting tricks you've tried with it? Do you normally use it on girls who you feel will be down regardless or is it more like in the video, a last resort when you feel it's not gonna happen?

I just pulled it off in Chiang Mai last night, first time I tried it, always wanted to. Chiang Mai has been an odd experience in terms of girls (awesome place otherwise). I'm spending 3 months in Bangkok and have been on a ridiculous (by far best of my life) streak, 43 flags to date just 2 months in. Took 4 days to visit Chiang Mai, had multiple girls come back to my hotel and just refuse to do anything. I am not surprised that it worked on a girl you met at a massage parlor in Thailand but I would not recommend trying it in a Western country as you may find yourself getting the police called on you. How I Met Your Mother is, like the Big Bang Theory, a show that is famously loved by females and their orbiters so I would not take advice from it without outside verification (which you made this thread to get, so you are doing the right thing). Not putting you down, only suggesting that you exercise caution when determining where to use this strategy. There is more than one reason why escalation is normally a multi-step process and not giving a girl reason to freak out and make a scene that could end with you getting in some kind of trouble is one of them.

If the girl is in your hotel room, then there is a level of comfort and trust built in. LMR may be due to shit tests or whatever. Its not illegal to do a playful striptease and take off your own shirt and pants.

You're not forcing her to take off any of her own clothing.
If she doesn't want to escalate, then she can just leave.
Tell her you're tired and going to sleep and changing your clothes, if she doesn't want to join you, then she can leave.
Spill some juice on your shirt and tell her you need to change it before it stains.

It's always bittersweet leaving Bangkok because anywhere you go after that (except maybe Manila) is going to pale in comparison in terms of the ridiculous amount of ridiculously hot poon you can slay any day of the week.

But Chiang Mai isn't Bangkok. It's smaller, not as anonymous, and a more conservative part of the country, etc. So no reason to expect BKK results there.

Maybe your misalignment of expectations is what turned the girls off? Or maybe just an unlucky streak, it happens. Beacuse you shouldn't really have any problem with SNLs there in my experience. Where did you meet these chicks? Tinder or in real life?

Also, which part of town did you stay in? All of that factors in.

Stayed near the old city. 1 was online, 1 from bar, 1 from tour I took, and the last was the massage parlor. I really don't think that was it because all of them texted me right after and made an effort to meet up again. I think it really is more conservative or perhaps inexperienced girls living there. I asked 2 why they came back to my hotel that late as they were leaving and both said bc invited them (no recognition of 2am = smash time) and 1 immediately asked me to come to temple with her next day. Anyway back in bkk now so all is good with the world.

I really only went for it because I was taken back by the difference between bkk and chiang mai so wanted to try something out of the box. I also like to try funky shit sometimes lol, going with your best move each time gets boring /leads to burnout, at least in a place like Thailand.

If a girl is scared off when you take off your shirt, then that's an indicator of something else or a spare tire.

I was questioning your statement that it 'works 2 out of 3 times'; your response is a non sequitur (not that I disagree with it).


Anyway in response to the OP, 'naked man' is clearly a high risk, high reward strategy. There are certainly more effective and reliable ways of escalating, so I don't see any reason why you would do it except for the sake of novelty or as a social experiment.
