Weekend destinations from San Francisco

Almost all of North America is within 6 hours of SF and every major city on the continent has direct flights from there. The only places I can think of that might fall outside that distance are Montreal and the Caribbean.

Makes sense. What are your favorite places to escape SF for a weekend?

I'd be curious to hear ideas as well. Obviously Las Vegas is probably #1. Close proximity. Bad bitches all over the world go to vegas to party and let loose.

For a weekend trip, I think 2-3 hours is a max flight I'd consider doing. Its diminishing returns if you are only there for 2-3 days.
I'm in LA, but from the bay area I'd say:
Vegas
Cabo
Scottsdale
San Diego
LA
I'll throw in Vancouver, BC in there as well. I always have a good time out there.
in that order. All you really need is Las Vegas though if your objective is to party and chase tail. 1 hour flight and it has everything you'd probably need. No need to bother with the hassles of going through immigration in a different country, etc. I've done Vegas 3 times in a month before.

If you live in SF and want to get out of the city (I don't blame you) consider taking weekend trips to other parts of Northern and Central California. Especially if you are not from the area.
There really are two Californias: the major cities and their metropolitan areas (SF and LA) which are overcrowded, overpriced liberal dystopias with women to match; and, the rest of it, which still has many hidden gems. Smaller cities in California like Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, San Diego, and even college/beach/vacation towns like Santa Cruz, Chico, and SLT are all lovely places to visit, will have far better/nicer women than the cities, are all within a few hours' drive from SF, and could be fun fruitful weekend trips.
Also, if you haven't gotten out and seen California's natural beauty yet you should do it. Yosemite, Sequoia National Park, Mount Whitney, the Lost Cost, Big Sur, Muir Woods... these are all incredible places without equal in our country, or in my opinion even the rest of the world. Could also be a chance to pick up some camper van thots, too since that is a thing now.

Vegas, Vegas, Vegas. This should really be your only answer.
One guy in the San Francisco thread thought that nightlife was so bad he would go get an AirBnB in Davis on the weekends and go out and try to hook up with college girls. I thought that was pretty hilarious.
In my experience, a lot of the guys that are constantly traveling and leaving SF for Game reasons are just doing it out of escapism — they don't want to put in the hard work that it takes to "make it" here. It's hard, and a long road, but if you want to crack it, you can crack it.

Short answer: Las Vegas. If you just want partying and easy girls, that's the best option. Only a 1 hour flight. Places like NYC and most of Mexico you should plan 3-4 days.
If you're on the younger side, there's plenty of smaller college towns which can be really fun and are a 2-4 hour drive.
-- Santa Barbara: Always a great time, and State Street isn't only for college kids (would say the crowd there is 21-30 on average). Just go to a spot called Wildcat lounge. You'll pay a small cover but get rewarded with $5 drinks and plenty of chicks. I think there's a datasheet on the forum somewhere.
-- Santa Cruz: I'm not a huge fan personally, its usually cloudy/cold and people usually smoke more than they party, but friends of mine swear by it. Worth checking out if you're a more low-key type.
-- San Luis Obispo (SLO): Imo this town is underrated, there's plenty to do in the daytime with beautiful hikes/surfing, great food, and the bar scene is pretty legit. Just go to Monterey St and pop into any bar that has a crowd. Play the out of towner card and you should be alright, competition is weak and there are some really cute girls.

Many other posters have suggested the many great sights in California. There are a hell of lot of tourist coming to SF. I'd be playing on them. I was just there and stayed at the Green Tortoise hostel. There were many good looking girls from all over the world there. I met girls from Austria, Israel, Switzerland, and other states. Most guys in the hostels have zero game. I shared a 4 person room and the guys didn't even go out to socialize. They were either sleeping, reading, or playing computer games on their phone. There was a giant communal room where you could socialize and eat breakfast. They organized a pub crawl and other tours or activities. Check into a hostel if you nothing better to do.

One thing to consider with SF is that the airports are horrible with delays. If it rains a little, there's a ground stop. Fog? 2 hour delay. That is the main thing for quick weekend trips, is that the airports getting to and from the bay area have shitty delay schedules.

Better luck with Oakland Airport? I have heard that it is literally closer to downtown SF than the SF airport.

I have never done Oakland, i figure its on the bay so there's fog. I usually take BART into the city so I think its pretty similar either way I guess.

Throwing out another option out there besides Vegas: Reno. It's where the regional folks go for funsies, ie can't afford a trip to Vegas. I've done a few weekend drives out to the meth-lovin gambling cousin, and always had a fun time. Sure, the quality is bad, casinos mostly run down, but the weekenders are more trashy personalities and down for a good time. Besides that, it's a nice drive through the mountains, and the city is growing, so quite a few nice restaurants and cocktail bars popping up.

Any Intel on Eugene, Oregon? Was curious of the night life with the University of Oregon located there if it's worth checking out.
